It is not about underground vs commercial it is about the people who support the scene vs the people who only take and never give. It is about the people who are out there throwing parties putting out tunes building the scene vs the people who are only there to tear it down. It is about the people who will take the time to listen to a new producer's track and support it just cause the like the record and you know what not too many of those left. When there was money involved sure enough they wanted a piece of that you could get a good record signed and promoted now days the sales are shit the promos go to the garbage un-played they just turn their fucking nose up and move on. It is a fucking shame.

Now stop for a second. Think abut the big djs that supported the bedroom producers and help build peoples careers and support peoples families. Just think about the mom and pop vinyl stores you used to visit that don't exist anymore! Think about the club owners that invested millions building clubs just to get shut down 6 months later and have their licenses revoked. Think about the promoters who took every legal risk out there to put out a good club night.

Think of all the people who dedicated their life to this scene. Support the real!

BRING TRANCE BACK.

Btw I couldn't resist

What should he have ''associated'' twilo with? The new wave of British heavy metal?

JOOF ignore the message board venom from the usual trolls on here lets be honest here they are not even on your level and they will never be till they take a stand for the music hell they are not even worth the 45 seconds it took to create an account to post this. Paul Oakenfold said it best... nevermind the bollocks... He called his new CD ''a salute to industry politics''

Wasn't planning to vote, but I guess I will now. Sure I'll give you a vote, other choices will be some other (local) guys who deserve it. We have a micro scene in the making here.

twilo was pretty much the birthplace in nyc in the 90's and early 2000's for bringing different genre's to nyc (prog, trance, techno) on a constant basis

besides junior vasquez's residency and a early residency from tenaglia...they brought in alot of diff dj's (sasha and digweed, carl cox, lawler, pvd, hawtin, jimmy van m etc etc)
so technically imo twilo wassent really associcated with "tribal" and "nyc hard house" for the most part
