The food in Playa is amazingly good. There are more good restaurants then you'll have time to hit. Everything from upscale to local hole in the walls. Do a little research first, and you won't be disappointed. All inclusive is retarded when you have that many quality food choices. And most everything is within walking distance if you're actually staying in PDC.

awesome info guys. How is the pricing for food and booze and how is dress code at those evening clubs? Hats? Shorts? Sandals?

What's the cheapest flight all of you found so far?

Out of all the DJ's, who are the must sees?

Also which DJ's play minimal music that goes nowhere imo?

Wanted to go for a night or two to one or both of the Islands nearby (Cosumel and Isla Mujeres) sometime in between the festival, just don't know when....

As of now, I'd like to check out the following DJ events:

Day parties: John Digweed, Nic Fanciulli, Mark Knight, Lee Burridge.

Night parties: Danny Howels, Danndy Tenaglia, Steve Lawler/Lee Burridge, Dubfire, Dirty South/Serge Devant, Cedric Gervais/Funkagenda and Steve Angello.

Obviously I am going with an open mind, so I would like some fellow TA input of MUST sees in your opinion.

Best sets on that list will be from John Digweed, Lee Burridge, Danny Tenaglia, Steve Lawler, & Danny Howells.

The cave is amazing but it gets ridiculously hot for this party. I would highly recommend going there for dinner sometime during the week. Food is pretty good and setting is beautiful.

I would def go to Life & Death v. Scissors & Thread Showcase. Going to be a sick day party. Also I would never miss Mr. C & Three.

What dates are you shooting for? Look into United or Virgin non stop or Spirit Airlines with a stop in Fort Lauderdale.

Where is everyone staying? Anyone book their hotel already?

There are gonna be people staying at hotels, all inclusive resorts, and condos. We're staying at a condo because my wife likes to have a kitchen and extra room.

Once we stayed at Mosquito Beach hotel and it was pretty cool. very dark and minimal. good for sleeping in.

Have you checked the links on the BPM website for deals/discounted rates ? http://www.thebpmfestival.com/hotel-condos/

The Aldea Thai is very nice and right by the day parties. In Fashion is pretty nice. My friend stayed there. The Reina Roja was new last year but it's not on the BPM website. Plenty of options.

I found lots of condos by using Google, just haven't signed up for one yet. Anyone having problems filling their condo, lemme know, two of us, professionals with security clearance and good credit are looking for rooms too from Jan 3-9, inclusively.

Wondering if I should get presale for the DJ's I know I want to check out beforehand or if I should just buy when I get there?
