Little Phatty is incredible. I played with one in guitar center. I got a Moog Rogue which is supposedly the same thing from back in the day without midi. Then I got a midi mod for it! Heres a lil vid:

Unfortunately it has since slowly died.. Probably because I smoke so much in my studio I guess that's one reason to go for a lil phatty instead (: oh well i plan on getting serviced eventually.

I use an Analogue Solutions Leipzig rack for bass lately, but I am toying with an oldish Novation bass station or better still the Novation KS rack which has many great synth capabilities and a vocoder for about 150. Anyone rate this? The youtube vids make it sound great to me.

bloody hell, do you need more synths?! hours of fun in there!
Really like the bass sound, the moog sounds awesome.
Im starting to think I should sell a few things that I aint using much anymore and get a little phatty or something. Decisions, Decisions.

hey guys,

today I went and had a play of the mopho and moog little phatty II.
Both sound great.

I have come to the conclusion that I will sell a few items I have in order to raise more funds. My budget is now $1000.

Im assuming now that there are some polyphony synths now available in this price range. Should I start another thread?

So i guess now this topic has changed to "best bass synth for around $1000"?

I can get a second hand little phatty or new mopho for just under $1000 each.

Hey guys,

I purchased zeta+2 today, its been on my hit list for months and I gotta say, even though i didnt buy it for bass sounds it actualy surprised me when it comes to bottom end, I bought it for leads and pads mainly. I gotta say, it gives NI massive a run for its money in the bass department.
