I have these. I randomly went out all night one time after work and I didn't have anywhere to put them so I ended up going clubbing with them round my neck (also sunglasses on head). Pulled so many chicks that night, neodymium = chick magnet.

lira has a pair of beats by dre? sheesh, marcus. sheesh.

i laugh when i see people wear those headphones, because i know that they are idiot trend-fags, they possess ears that can't discern good from bad sound objectively, and that they got ripped the fuck off on a subpar pair. and yeah, it is pretty funny that all, not just a percentage, but ALL of them wear them in public view at all times. like they're saying, "shit, i just spent $300 on these shit-ass cans, might as well flaunt it around to let everyone know that i spent some solid coin on these things."

the 7506's are half the price and 10x the headphones beats by dre will ever be.

( btw i personally use a pair of sony earbuds for everyday use, and a pair of technics rpdj-1200's for spinning.. though i regret buying the technics every day of my life. should've spent the extra 30-50 bucks on the 7506's :'[ )

Superior sounds? From a mobile device?

So you're telling me you're going around the streets with big headphones because in your opinion, that increases the music quality contra the douche bag ratio.

Obviously any ol' big set of cans ain't gonna automatically give me increased music quality. You have to do some research into these things: what headphones give good response to MP3 players; how much you're willing to spend; what MP3 players have the best output (protip: it definitely ain't Apple); whether an amp is suitable or even required for the setup you've crafted.

I've tried buds and plugs before, and though some have given me good sound quality, I simply prefer the breathing space cans provide. It could be a placebo effect, but I find that tiny bit of air between the speakers and my earholes makes the music sound fuller.

Ah, I see. Don't get me wrong, I'm not hatin'. On the road I'm comfortable with the CX-500 from Sennheiser and FLACs on the mobile-phone, but it's not really comparable to my little audiophile setup which I have at home.

He's good too. To be fair, I just threw the first three names that came up to my mind - there's so much good stuff in that label

When will you idiots learn?

I don't sit around all day, patiently sipping my expensive coffee with my expensive mac, iphone, and beats by dre on the table at starbucks for nothihng. I also own a hybrid car because I need to tell the world I'm better than them because I care for the environment while you don't.

I'm typing this on my ipad, while driving on my hybrid, while sipping coffee. I am such a boss.

I have a couple friends with Beats. Most of them legitimately think they sound good and do use them for actual music. One friend admits that he knows he could get a lot better for the money, but he likes how they look (he just has the earbuds, not the cans). But he says they're still better than Apple headphones and what most people have.

I think it's stupid to spend that much on headphones just because you like how they look when you know the sound quality could be a lot better, but whatever. My friends mostly listen on speakers anyways and they all actually DO listen to music and enjoy it. I hate the ******s who walk around with the cans around their neck just to look cool. Though, like people have mentioned, it does make it easy to avoid douchebags.
