This thread is another gem. I LOVE TRANCEADDICT.

It's amazing how brave you can be when you're hiding behind your computer screens and I guess it's just a sad fact of life that there are some people who get their kicks out of scouring the Internet just to be nasty. |
I guess if I'm alluding to anything, it's that dance music - just like football - is becoming too much about the money. A lot of money. David Guetta himself even admitted to selling out!![]()

So, yea, I guess she set herself up for abuse but at the same time, after putting in a few shots for good measure, it's much more effective to not always assume OP is a link spam+run kind of poster.
I talked with OP briefly and told her she was in the wrong to just come here and post a link and leave it at that. She came off not being familiar with the forum environment (relative to say twitter/blog world).... I guess that's one thing a lot of us (who have been here a long time) have yet to realize and that is that Twitter-land is much different...you may get the occasional rude comment but since your 'tweets' only go out to your followers or certain hashtags you are insulated. Forums are threaded and discourse is required... merely replying with a "+1" (RT equivalent) does little to move the conversation forward.
That said, some DJs get paid too much for the shit they play but if promoters pay who are we to judge?

is this ted promo?
I think it's him (RJT)
Pretty sure it's Bobby Glowstix.
A pop singer, basket player, football player get more money, you are worth what people thinks you are worth, for me may be enough if people attend to a club where i am playing that has 0 cost entry fee , you get paid accordingly to that then and the figure won't be high. But if people are willing to pay 20 to see you without any drink, then you can raise your expectations to a 5 number figure for sure.
About David Guetta, Deadmau5, AvB etc... if people are stupid enough to pay 500 to go to a football match and see just little men 100 meters far away from them kicking a ball then why wouldn't they pay 30 to see a monkey waving their hands? It feels even worthy quality/price.
