As well as English: a little bit of French, and GCSE level German.... not very impressive

Posted by DrUg_Tit0 on Dec-18-2002 22:51:

English, of course
Ich sprache deutsch, aber nicht sehr gut.
Govorim i Hrvatski, normalno, s obzirom da sam iz hrvatske. (Croatian)
Govorim i Srpski, bre, da me ceo svet razume! (Serbian)
Ego dictum lingua latina (but not good)

Croatian and serbian are almost the same, kind of like swedish and norwegic, and most balkan or former yugoslavia languages are similar, so I can understand slovenian and macedonian very well, but not speak them so good.(bosnia and montenegro use either serbian or croatian or serbocroatian) I can also somewhat understand most of the other slavic languages, like russian, polish, czeck, slovak, etc.

a jel ti mozes ovo razumjeti sto sad pisem?

Yes, and Stevetranz4ever, I love you in croatian/serbian or serbocroatian is "volim te", or "ja te volim", not "ljubim te". "ljubim te" means "i kiss you".

And whoever thinks english is hard hasn't tried to learn croatian. I'm not from an english speaking country, but english was relatively easy to learn, at least the grammar part. It was only kind of hard to understand at first because it is pretty soft language.
