My guess is

Davi 9-11

Beyer 11-2

Sasha 2-5+

Eduardo Castillo 9-11

Art Department 11-2

Damian Lazarus 2-5+

I dont trust insomniac to ever hold an event that stays open past 4 no matter what they say and that they usually like to pull the headliner before closing so that people start to leave before the whole thing ends.

My best guess would be Davi from 9-1030, Beyer from 1030-1, sasha from 1-330 and they close around 430 with davi coming back to play from 330 until whenever they shut the whole thing down. hope im wrong but that would be my guess.

i don't think Exchange can stay open past 4am due to their permit.

Also, Luciano i'm told was booked at Exchange, possibly for 12/22... but it fell through. And he's does not seem to be not playing Sound either... they have someone else for NYE assuming they get their permit issue taken care of.

Recently Insomniac has been announcing set times the day of or day before for Exchange and Palladium shows...

If its 4 then its pretty easy guess that sasha and beyer will most likely play a 230 sets each like i guessed bc if they are both doing 3 hour ones that means davi is only playing until 10.

this is true. they have been working on getting a permit for after hours though. who knows, maybe it might happen on new years.

as for lineup, i doubt beyer will play before Sasha. Beyer bangs it out too much. Would be too difficult for Sasha to follow.

I agree with this guy. Beyer bangs out proper techno. Kind of hard for Sasha to follow him.

I think Beyer is better suited for the whole night. I used to be a HUGE Sasha fan but he's bored me the last couple of times i've seen him.

Yea I wasn't that happy with him when he played with guy gerber earlier in the year at avalon, I thought gerber was by far the highlight of the night.. left early from what I remember and I rarely EVER leave before the headliner finishes

Beyer actually played Sasha's party this summer at Ushuaia... no idea how 'hard' he brought it that evening though...

Posted by DjWoody on Dec-13-2012 21:29:

I've seen Sasha bang it out very hard. Shoot, I've even seen him drop 2Bad Mice and old school "rave."

Posted by HALO555 on Dec-13-2012 21:32:

Hopefully this pairing will result in Sasha stepping up his energy with an evil, dark twisted set and not subject us to a sleepy one.

Agreed that his sets at avalon this past year were pretty lackluster. I also heard from several people his set at Drais for EDC week was pretty boring.

Let's hope Sasha brings it. We all know Beyer will deliver.

Beyer plays more mellow proggy stuff sometimes. I'm sure he'd do a decent job with his slot regardless.

i've seen him do that too, but that was years ago. We all know Sasha, he starts off slow and builds it up. But now he's doing something different. Good music, very chill but it just doesn't make me go "WOW!" anymore.

reading the just issued press release it sounds like it will be a SBE/Insomniac partnership with EDM djs and SBE-quality service at Vanguard. More of a joint venture that i had guessed...

Here's Adam Beyer last week LIVE at Stereosonic in Melbourne, Australia.

Here's Sasha LIVE in Ukraine this past summer.

I really liked the Beyer set you posted Woody. Sasha was.... enjoyable and definitely a set worth seeing live.

this is basically what im banking on. I have heard that his sets in south america were banging this year just because the crowd got him to have way more energy. im hoping beyer pushing the crowd loosens sasha up. Heck even around 2006 he would sometimes still drop xpander if the crowd got rowdy enough.

I think I'm getting pulled into White Wonderland simply because my friends know more people going. I'm not terribly excited about this (the upside is the obvious amounts of pretty girls that will be there and who will be with us). My big issue is the soft/commercial music and the fact that it's so damn early, ends early, and is in Anaheim.

Anyhow, what would be the best options for after 2am?
Am I insane in thinking we could get into Avalon at all? Exchange?
How bad/dangerous would the traffic be driving up and how long would it take?
