I think there were a couple of pictures of you in a tux/suit wearing regular kicks floating around a while ago. That probably explains it. Ainda bem que nao foi o caso dessa vez.

Lira - please explain to me the bread thing. all I saw on facebook was something to the extent of , "if you have bread in their cabinets for three years, you are now married" or something.

Posted by Lira on Dec-25-2012 02:19:

It was a reference to a joke from my speech:

(Background info: Kaoru is 5 feet tall, I'm nearly 6).

"[I decided to have this ceremony because] according to old Danish secular law, if a man let a woman have the key to his bread cabinet for more than 3 years, thus granting her access to his food, they'd officially be recognised as a married couple by the local council of elders. I reckoned this was a rather hassle-free method of tying the knot, and I wanted to try it out with Kaoru. However, it soon proved to be a bit of a problem for us... I keep all my food in the high shelves".

Thanks, and nah, not really

I'm still getting used to the ring in the other hand, but that's about it...

Posted by stren on Dec-25-2012 17:15:

I'll never get engaged, cause I hate wearing rings.

It took a while for my wife to get used to a different name when picking up the phone

I wasn't used to wear a ring before at all.
