I dunno man im there for the music when hes playing extended sets, not to pick up chicks. If you want chicks then go listen to a show. There was still plenty of smoke shows there to ease the eyes.

Meh, not sure if I agree with this sentiment. There's multiple components of a great night out -- it's not just the music. Venue, crowd, vibe, etc...if it was just about the music you could simply turn on your surround sound and load up your favorite set and not worry about spending money at a club. And yeah, a sausage fest is definitely not a good thing. That said, there were a lot of dudes at the Markus show but wasn't overwhemingly bad...definitely was a good amount of hot ass running around.

I mean are you comparing pressing play on your radio and listening in your living room to being on the Terrace at Space from for 10 1/2 hours. I had no problem looking at the fine chicks that were there, yeah not a ton of enough for me to enjoy the to 100. And i mean it was Space for Trance on a sunday night 1st weekend of ultra, and from what i heard that crowd was a bunch of Wheres Molly t shirt kids. So i wasnt expecting it to be full with hotties, more trance heads like ourselves.

I basically agree. Wasn't the best party in the world with regards to hot girls but I thought the energy was awesome. And like I said, there was a decent amount of good looking girls. At any rate, it blows away the hipster-fest at Treehouse Monday night. Appollonia was awesome and Snats was one of the coolest TAs I've met so far, but man was the crowd weird as fuck. I like to get down and dance (especially when I find open space, like towards the back bar where the smoke pit was) and these fools standing around having a chin-stroking conference were all "wtf is he doing." I could tell they were even making fun of me -- not that I give a shit -- but it's funny that soon thereafter I was chatting up one of the hotter girls int he place. It's called dancing you fuckwads! You know, you're at a house music event, the point of the shit is to party!

lmfao the crowd is hit or miss when it comes to dancing. I have been there before and everybody looks at you crazy when your dancing and it's also been the complete opposite

They need to play people don't dance no mo all they do is this when everybody standing like its suiciide Tuesday on Friday night

Thanks for the ID jdub889, Markus RabbitHole drop of "Nothing Matters" is def 1000 times better than the original.

Per DJ Jo Deuce the original BMP is 128 and Markus dropped it at 132.

my two cents on the chick situation at space... i bought two tickets to this event, one for me and the other for whoever wanted to come along ! had a buddy who had some issues with his chick that day and wanted to release some stress. he has never EVER heard markus schulz and that night this marathon set got him through some b/s. I'm not hear to tell some pity story and what not, but this not was very positive. I was glad too bc we just didnt care about anything but the music and dancing and eventually the chicks came around. idk about some of you guys but if you can dance, the chances of girls coming around are pretty high. We didn't get through the whole set but Markus was just hammering away like no tomorrow. went to his last marathon set at space and he did much better this time considering the last time was bad ass too! W.e that is all. EPIC night. THANK YOU MARKUS!!!

Markus did a great set, I left before 5 so I missed the good stuff. I left early because I hate club space as a venue.

- ambient lighting was crappy, needed to be darker overall
- boring decorations / environment was minimalistic
- vip sections were WAY too big and empty
- rude staff
- small TVs and no laser lights (not sure if this is the venue setup)
- drink prices not so good

I just think space is a dump. I'll never go there again! Not even for markus since I've seen him in his best already
