Come on, we're both about as lenient as you can get And like I've said before in this thread, these "rules" already semi-exist. All we're doing here is clarifying things so that everyone knows where they stand, and so we can moderate the place a bit easier.

we can congregate and hold conference to discuss the rules which have been submitted by marcus the moderator, but stu whose coo-coo has been the voice of this nest for so long has made direct statement that those rules have existed long before. perhaps what this society needs cannot be published in a document entitled the corstitution. man must not be made to make rules that govern other men. man will revolt against the amendments made to paralyze the purposes of its society. man will look for answers. answers to questions that do not ask of how to behave and act amongst one another, but answers that enlighten why man is here and continues to sign in and lurk for countless years. our purpose. our being. what the cor needs is not a list of rules regurgitated by marcus the moderator and defended by stu the coo-coo of what we cannot do, what the cor needs is the answer to the things we can and in some case must do to protect our society and keep it free from intruders. i present you a draft of the CORMMANDMENTS!

one. thou shalt not support or treat moderators as greater powers

two. thou shalt use thy keyboard to carve up negative images of all those who deserve it

three. thou shalt take the name of thy mods in vain

four. remember to lurk the cor like every day is the sabbath day

five. honor thy alliance, for they shalt save you when butthurt commences

six. thou shall use words to kill

seven. thou shalt expect the wrath of the cor if thou commit online adultery

eight. thou shalt steal or collect information and use it when necessary

nine. thou shalt bear false witness against thy fellow members to humiliate them if needed

ten. thou shalt not covet thy fellow members wife nor any thing that is thy fellow members and expect to get away without repercussions

The reason I mentioned Radagast on the original post is because he's the most easily recognisable name involved in the "Robin Hood Switch-a-roo", in which the person breaking the rules claims it was actually a good thing. And he's done it to a handful of people, as I recall it, not just one person, so he's the most recognisable offender.

Firstly, no defaming photos were even posted in the infamous thread. The way I see it, it was just a bunch of shit-talking right up until the end. Not to mention that almost no one even bought into Eric's story. Making this whole formal transparency thing seems like such an overkill reaction.

This forum is half dead already, just be cool and let it do its thing. Making all these formal rules just puts up walls. It's not like you guys are gonna get sued for poor moderating. If a person has any common sense they keep their personal business off the cloud anyway. And as someone said, usually when someone gets picked on around here they're more often then not somewhat asking for it. There's no need for any of this, or rampant suspensions, "rules". Most of these are already understood by almost all of us, I would say. It's such a buzzkill that you guys feel you need to enforce them to a tee. It's like you guys are trying to babysit.

I say this with a lot of respect for the two of you. I understand it's time consuming to keep an eye out and undoubtedly you guys feel some sort of responsibility. I like you guys. But it's called the chill out room; just chill out.

I don't think you're wrong, but like they said, this is just a way for them to flesh out why they might hand out suspensions to some people. Though it seems quite redundant, given the last rule where they basically supersede all of the other rules by saying that they make the rules at any given moment.

The way I see it, Jenny and Eric were guilty of a few citations:

1) Manufacturing Drama without a permit
2) Failing to appear at a pics or stfu hearing
3) Stealing personal photos of someone who does not even belong to this forum for their trolljob (Nice.)

The whole forum has been alight at the allegations, so naturally they're going to take all of the credit as justification for their shitsmearing, but in the end they failed to deliver anything of substance, and really just made themselves look really trashy. Jealousy is an unstable thing.

Neither Selma nor I contacted any of the mods at all before bans were doled out; This thread is obviously just Lira announcing he is now a Cor mod, and them justifying their judgment to shut the unsubstantiated rumour mill down. Really, if you have nudes of someone, you post them- how hard is that to understand? People talk about this forum dying, and I think it has everything to do with the fact that most everyone who was inclined to send out naked pictures of themselves has been summarily run off the forum. So now people just have to make shit up in an I TROLL U fashion? No wonder Eric is starting to take a liking of Nou.

On the topic of expectations for moderators, I don't think it's cool that Lira told me to "grow the fuck up" and said he was going to ignore my pms (via pm, btw), warranted or not. A good moderator doesn't lose their shit on someone, even someone as annoying as me. Even Wicked Neo never snapped.

Additionally, you want to lame up this forum with some idealistic version of how things should be? And have us all act in some sugary sweet phony way, denying how people really are?
