Actually, I am female, and my taste is way above the cheesy shit that John Askew spews out.

But what boggles my mind is that we accept Spotify and Youtube. They quite literally give away your content for free. I had some friends over other night and I couldn't be fucked to mix anymore so I just started bring tracks up on youtube. I literally found every track we wanted to hear, spanning 4 decades, and I wasn't even logged in. How the fuck is this legal?

Not only that, you can watch free movies on Youtube. I'm talking mainstream movies like Inerstellar, it's there I just looked it up. The quality is not great, but still. I don't know how Youtube has gotten away with this all these years. It truly is corporate sanctioned piracy. Youtube is quickly becoming spotify for movies.

John Askew may not be the most cutting edge producer / DJ in the world but when I want to hear "that" trance sound I can always give him a listen, whereas other producers / DJs may have moved onto to totally other genres.

There is something to be said for that. You do have to admire his dedication.

Listening to lots of Sean Tyas, John Askew, Jordan Suckley and Will Atkinson productions lately!

I think for what "Levels" is, it is a good song. It's catchy and melodic and is an effective song in terms of having an appeal to a wide audience.
