it's just a completely different vibe to be honest, different culture, different type of partying, i guess as you get older you realize you pretty much make the party happen how you want it to happen and then when you got money to blow you can take it to the next level

Sounds fucking beast! I cant wait.

panda still with you on this.

as EYK says, its definitely cultural, I guess we tend more to the northern, central European way of things than the southern way that you see in Ibiza.

After all, just look at the sounds you get from both regions.

Funny last October was talking to one of the guys from the
Giegling label, a pretty talented producer IMO, and Luciano came up.
he was like: I'm not into that Ibiza thing (talking about the sound)

sums it up, it's that Ibiza thing.
doesn't mean good or bad, just what it is
So, on that score, I'm inclined to believe in the invented in Argentina, it fits..

I think WMC on steriods minus American douchebaggery and everyone's naked and having sex

i think a few of the OG so in the scene ibiza experts can attest

if not, just gawk, this is from the pre-internet/socialmedia era, basically what I had to look at in regards to anything ibiza...

Ibiza's Children - Amazing and inspiring film.
forum gets a mention too.

made around 2003, so definitely not from the pre-internet era, and I'd say not so much pre-, but rather, the dawn of social media (myspace same year...),

10 years on, how dated is this one now?

fleming: underground was born here?

is Armin saying he likes the zero tolerance of the US?
douchebag.
he def. is wrong about Europe being ahead of the US on drugs.
we put acid, shrooms, mescaline, dmt, E, K, into general use way before there.
where is their medial weed (movement), or their legal recreational weed (movement)
(NL = decrim, not legal weed, and its sliding back, plus its a little spec in no-go rest of Europe)

oh, if I ever go, it'll be to Ibitsa, they can keep their Ibitha (ask people from South America about that one, lol)

Well, I had a good time the other night. I have to agree with you guys though, the dropping low thing is kinda cheese. It reminds me of 2nd grade.

I really was impressed by Jase Thirlwell and Matt Bowdidge. Been a fan of Bowdidge for about a year now. He definitely delivered. His melodic uplifting sound is what I crave. My friend asked me why he was after Monoverse but by the end of the night she knew why. I dont think i have danced that hard for that long since the Crobar or Twilo ays. I just don't have the energy like I used to but i guess i found it. Staying til the bitter end was cool cuz a of them played together and you could see that they were haing a great time even though there were only like 20 people left. Hope they do another night like this in the summer. I was told that they are trying to get Johan Ekman to come to NY. Its always great to see the same people come out time after time. Good to know there are loyal fans out there.

haha glad you had a great time! i think the time slots made sense, jase has been in the production game for a long time so him playing after indecent noise made sense. standup characters across the board, it was fking awesome playing with them ALL at the end

are you guys kidding?

the sitdown started at a TRANCE EVENT?

ROFL.

this is a ROCK N ROLL thing. before wannabe DJs thought they were some sort of "rock stars", ACTUAL rock stars have been selling out 80,000 people stadiums worlwdide and having fans go mental.

there are all sorts of crowd "things" (can't think of a word) that they do. for the record, to do them at "dance" parties in "club culture" i think is pretty lame - even if richie, coxy, etc have had them do it. it's definitely big in europe and i'm sure south america but meh.

lets see..

slipknot - fast forward to 8:00. looks a bit more appropriate with METALHEADS and not yolo's cracked out on ketamine.

lamb of god - the wall of death. they make the crowd split up and then run at each other at full speed. ROFL but once again, this is METAL. fast forward to 1:00.

sorry but any sort of DJ doing this is nothing more but an attempt to overglorify themselves into rock stardom.
