How about rapid eye - circa forever and jose amnesia the eternal.. this is very very similar.. im pretty sure that there were other tracks that sounded like the eternal as wel.. or maybe im just imagining things
When i first heard Push - The legacy, i immediately thought of
Moogwai - The labrynth....pretty damn similar synth sound a melody
But since there's only a finite # of notes to choose from, loadsa shit sounds the same. It's like if you remove the vocals from rock music, the guitar chords are the same in SOOO many songs, cos the geetar can only produce a very limited # of chords
epic future was first!
Don't know if anyone have mention it but:
DJ Tisto - Flight 643
Armin van Buuren - Sunburn
Don't think these were mentioned:
Green Court - Moonflight + System F Out Of The Blue
Agnelli & Nelson - El Nino + Sunchild - Nino Del Sol
super space - trance force and
das licht - take off
.. but im not sure super space might also be dj dean? anyone know?!
york - on the beach (crw remix)
three drives - greece 2000
exact same little bassline sounds

rank 1 - awakening + cygnus x - superstring |
damn

you know XTC is bad for ya...when the hell does
Lange & dumonde - memory (meghara vs dj lee mix) &
three drives on a vinyl - carrera 2...sound the same?

Also a fairly new one
Alpha zone - stay
is way too similar to Danny lemon - the poem (nordlicht remix) which came out way before
.. tsk tsk tsk.. but hey.. imagine layering some of these tracks.. hehe super synths galore
2 other songs that sound like sandstorm
fridge - mystery (pornostar remix)
and mario piu - nature (all the same samples from sandstorm)

Vernon's Wonderland - "Wonderland"
Felix - Don't you want my love
The melodies have the same note structure, just different synths
I've noticed remarkable similarites between
Astral Projection vs Trilithon - Gem
and
Earthbound - We are not alone
but a lot of goa sounds the same, like Etnica - Nitrox and Charasmatix - Bum HD02. Many goa/psy tracks seem like they always run the same bassline.

Originally posted by b i n k u n yup, Samuel Barber is the composer of Adagio for Strings, a classical orchestral piece. William Orbit had a remake of it done on his album purely by electronic means (computer, synths, etc). Then Ferry Corsten made a remix of William Orbit's remake....and ends up as it is today. as if anyone really cared about this... ![]() |
Erik Vee - Wildside (Club Mix)
and
DJ Isaac - On The Edge
These songs are exact copies, although DJ Isaac made it first and that still is one of my fouvorites this year
