Hurry rhymes with Curry.

Furry rhymes with Blurry

So no, hurry does not rhyme with furry - There's a dip in tone on U for the the latter.

furry = fur-ree

Hurry - ha-ree

(both said fast with no gap as such between syllables).

They all fucking rhyme, get that dick out of your mouth. who the fuck says "ha-ree"? ya faggot

Lira is just over thinking something to prove a point that will be lost on anyone who isn't a linguist professor. Let me put you to sleep while I explain why something that rhymes doesn't really rhyme if you don't pronounce it correctly.

Get back in your favela you fucking peasant, before I re-civilize you

Edit: wait a fucking second. You're in New Jersey? No wonder you think everything rhymes

Actually, "hurry" and "furry" not rhyming is an east coast and south thing, in a U.S. context. People with "standard" American accents rhyme them.

I'm English. I could care less what the east coast accents do to my language

COME AT US BRO!!!!

By the way, it's probably easier to say that the "u" in curry sounds like the "u" in "hut" and the "u" in furry sounds like the "u" in "hurt", assuming they don't pronounce the two vowels the same way. That's the difference, right? Right?! RIGHT!?!?

I'm just glad I'm not the only one dumbstruck by this piece of information

Fuck me, another foreigner telling me how to pronounce my own fucking language.

It's like me telling you how to pronounce Cunt

(Which is "can't" in your tongue )

That's it. It's really what the letters before and after the U do to it.

Curry and blurry aren't a 100% exact rhyme but they're the closest I can think of. The only other thing I can think of would be the name "Murray".

But sure as shit, Furry and Curry do NOT fucking rhyme.

Yes, exactly this.
