I have started a giant list of literally any white label that is classed as psy, goa, trance from 1994-00

I am only doing that because someone in here (DragonsEmerald) claimed to have it in his wantlist on cogs thus it must be in cogs. He would not give the name.

Grown men protecting names of other peoples tracks is quite sad

It's definitely not no 3 on your list - 12,000 Micograms is on beatport - https://www.beatport.com/track/1200...ginal-mix/66119

and the GMS track is on youtube.

Also not no 6 - Transient VII is on youtube in full too

@ The Sixth, Did you ever end up trying to contact him?

It's still cool to see people are trying to help hunt these down... I'm hopeful it'll happen one day!

"I got various details including the name, but I'm telling none of you." Fuckin' lol, if that doesn't scream, "I'm bullshitting you," I dunno what would.

Yeah I mean you can take that attitude/road or you can try to move forward. The only way to guarantee failure is to do nothing.

You were posting in the same threads when this DragonsEmerald user was. Do you recall if they were genuine or not? Were they active on DC++ hub? Selling rare records?

And being such a big Oakey collector did you ever get even a sniff of a clue about this record?

DE and I used to chat via MSN Messenger or something quite a bit back in the day - but this is like 15+ years ago at this point so my memory is a bit hazy. I think he even sold me a record once so I do believe that he's pretty legit. Can't prove much, but I don't have any reason to believe he would lie. But hey, who knows...

I, personally, have no leads on this track unfortunately.

dude, the-sixth do you work at any 3 letter agency as an analyst or something, because if you don't you should.. like what the fuck brother...

you are literally a digital version of bryan mills. i have to applaud the amount of effort and time you've taken to do this, good luck

Does anybody know where you can find a copy of the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi 'stone into a pond' sample?

Posted by Lews on Aug-27-2020 21:10:

It's from this talk:

Nice one! I might get someone to have a go at remaking it, just for bantz. If it's any good I'll share it on here

A J00F buddy?

Terrible new age vocal samples seem to be one part of 90s trance that the new generation hasn't quite picked up yet, unless I've just missed it.

Posted by SYSTEM-J on Aug-28-2020 09:38:

Oh, you've definitely missed it.

Yeah hopefully someone from the stable will be up for the challenge ☺️

Re: wanky vocal samples, I don't think this one is too bad really. I remember when I was listening to lots of psy trance I would get completely exasperated when rediculous Bill Hicks samples about 'young men on acid' and the like featured. This one about stones in ponds isn't overtly shit like that 😂

I'm back home and dug out the Stride Ahead compilation. You can remove that from the list as none of the tracks on the compilation sounds anything like the track you're looking for.

DragonsEmerald is the guy who responded to this video twice and claimed he submitted the track to Discogs.

Posted by Lews on Sep-06-2020 20:34:

Well I'm pretty sure it's not any of the undated or 1998-2000 releases that he submitted to Discogs, so I'm gonna guess, again, that he was lying.

Sneaker Pimp

Great track!

What happens when you learn which track it is?

Maybe it's better not to know? Maybe not.

I wish you the best of luck. I'm really curious what awesome tracks you may have found on this quest!
