For me it was Vincent De Moor - Flowtation.
Absolute classic.

Get Your Thing Together!!!!
One of the greatest tune of ever...
from CAMILIA-Get Your Thing Together
This is with what I started and keeping with me.
Camilia has given me the message to escape from the Trance tunes that are similar to each other. What I mean is an escape from easy and non-musical but just bass supported tracks.
Camilia-Get Your Thing Together is an absolutely pure sample of this approach...
In addition I can Say "Feel Free-By Tiesto and Yves DeRuyter"
Mario lopez "the sound of nature"

probably Yahel - Voyage, I remember listening to this track over and over
jurgen vries - the theme = probably one of the cheesiest tune ever made
and
three drives - carrera 2
and john vesta - gull
Robert Miles - Children
As a kid i used to listen to my dads Jean Micheal Jar (spelling) albums, they were a bit trancyfied, minus the beat, however the tunes which really kicked it off for me where:-
Veracocha - Carte Blanche
System F - Out of the blue
Art of trance - Maddagasga
Gouryella - Gouryella
Trance.... hmmm, well its been called so many things before that:
If I had to go to the very begeinings I would have to say Bigod 20 - The Bug, which was industrial at the time, it evolved later of course. I also loved Carpe Diem ... I forget the project who put it out. Was Bigod 20 = Talla 2XLC?? I heard it from a friend of mine, I guess it is possile... what ya think?
If i had to go for the "later beginnings" of trance I would have to say Ayla - Ayla, fell in love since I first heard it.
Cheers
Silveride
PS: TAs in Miami pm me, I'm always open to new people in my open ended circle...
sounds ghey, but the mortal kombat soundtrack got me hooked
Yeah, I listened to the Mortal Kombat soundtrack too and I loved it. I also listened to a lot of Prodigy but the two tracks that got me hooked (I'm ashamed to say) were Johnny Vicious - Ecstacy and DJ Jean - The Launch. Ecstacy was actually kinda cool but The Launch is just embarrasing.
