i have to say this thread is wrong. i dont care if an admin/mod or whatever he is made it, it is bang out of order. if you browse the first 4 pages all you see is ligaya, and occasionly punk. just so everyone know FC browses this forum and i dont think he'd like to think his work is unnapreciated. dont give me a bullshit response saying its constructive critism and that it will help him in the future, he can judge that for himself by seeing the responses by crowds at his sets (and i bet half of the ones dissing, will be chantign along to punk etc) instead, give credit where it is due, stop the flamming, its LAME. im dissapointed a mod started it and also the fact it hasnt been close yet. ffs, LAME. Neo do what your best at....

EPIC TRANCE is Dead for right now it has for the last year or so.... im not saying progressive is the best they have ton of shit productions comming out lately as well...all im saying people have been jumping on the epic bandwagon for over 4-5 years but many fans that listened to it since 99 religiously most have changed there style somewhat .. mayb give it a few more years and mayb epic movement will rise again with some innovation mayb.....just look at producers ..seriously are the epic tracks that came out 99-2000 and the trance from the same artist now seriously u can see the tracks now are even half as good as they were in 99 thats because artist dont know what to do anymore then just do the same bs over and over again ...

and to Az i spelled your name purposely wrong Azz ....ill keep on saying people will see the bigger picture sooner or later ...

the thing is that there is such a great hype about a song and then when one hear's it sounds worse than it really is. THere is just to much build up and the let down seems bigger than it is. anyways does anyone like my avatar hopefully it comes up

i dont agree with ure bit about epic being dead, but someone saying that trance is only epic is ludicrous, and that thats all this forum is dedicated to. This is a TRANCE FORUM all trance and sub forms are welcome so wat u said is just plain old dumb, bra.

There is no expectation on any songs besides what the idiots conjure up prior to its release or you hearing it, hence "OMFG Gouryella - Ligaya" . If you asked which Compilation or CD was disappointing from a WELL KNOWN artist..it would be a better and more answerable question. From anything...expect a little, and receive a lot. Ok i have been on this board just as long as you if not longer and I'm not "just" a 15 year old. I disagree, in fact i believe that you may be in another dimension. 2001 was the year of progressive, I think we can all agree, no vocals, no or very little builds, basically boring shit, 2002 vocals and uplifting came back, and progressive became more melodic...thankfully. So lets start talking facts instead of opinions.

I heard enough of the fools say at the end of 2000 that epic was dead blah blah...then 2002 came around and all thoses dumbasses seem to be wrong.
