It is a shame that Ferry and Tiesto aren't together to collaborate anymore... hopefully they'll get their heads straight and forgive and forget whatev happened. What I find funny is that Armin is tops with all of them hahahah!! That trio is unbeatable.
And if there is a Tiesto rework of Ligaya... BRING IT ON!!! It's as close as we'll get to the original Gouryella works...
I don't think a collabo between Tiësto and Ferry will work again. Tiësto went into a different direction while Ferry is still 'stuck' and building on the blueprint of late '90's trance with System F - Out Of The Blue. Luckily Ferry has announced he will also produce into a 'new' direction (read here). Maybe when Ferry will produce some new and innovative music they will work again in the future, but I don't think it will be in the near future.
(NOTE: Don't see this as an attack on Ferry's producing skills or whatever. I like the guy and a lot of music he's producing, but the only really innovative piece of music he's been producing lately was Punk, which was a masterpiece IMO. The rest was all mediocre and average, look at Ligaya)

And I like Ligaya too! But I think most of the trance coming out is still based on that late '90's sound and very little progress is made. Although we lately hear some big name DJ's such as Ferry, John '00' Fleming and Tiësto say that trance is moving into a new direction, which I think is a good thing. You simply can't stick with a particular sound, it gets annoying after some time.
