I like the idea, but there's a lot of cheese amongst the tracks I know about 11, most of the ones I don't know I don't like (of what I hear). Next time more quality tunes plz, not those cheesy synths and vocals.

id say 6 maybe 7 of these are cheesy. There are some quality tracks within here

I suck, I could only get like 4... But most of them I've heard before... I'm too lazy to look them up!

and with that quality tunes are more recognizable then cheeasy ones, for instance i know wavey fravey by hart so that would be too easy but commercial tracks are harder!

ID Contest #2
It's now up to those 3 winners to decide who is going to run the second contest. During this contest, I've received a lot of emails and pm's from people volunteering to run the second one. Everyone who has idea's, please post them here, so that DJ Mikey Mike, Glaniskanis and TimeportE can decide what they're going to do with the next contest. Here are a few suggestions I received :
- a contest like this, but on a specific (sub)genre/year/... For example a progressive trance contest or a '99 contest.
- an idea from Nell :

Shit. I should have entered. I'd have gotten 14 of them easily. Didnt get the chance to download the file.

An idea for the next one:

Have 3 different sets of samples, at different qualities, say 192kb/s, one at 96, and one at 48. To help us 56k-ers who cant download huge files.

What I would like to know is which tracks the winners couldn't ID.

This contest was cool, I only got about 7 of them but I cant wait for the next one. I'm downloading some of the ones I liked now
