I had a great night..... but i could see that Tiesto was tired. However,, i did enjoy his set from last year waaaaaaaay more than this year. Either way.... it was a great party...even though he played more harder progressive tunes.
Met some new Ta's SoS2galvatron, Mecha, Dj hordash (nice shirt)
and ho to the others i see all the time.
Hopefully, Tiesto will bring trance into his life in 2003.
Aight, first of all kudos to the Guv management. It seems they learned from the Sept 1st stupidity. It was a good thing that they stopped letting people in without advanced tickets, very good move. Coatcheck was also nice and fast.
The only complaint I have is that stupid bass!!!!!!!
LukeFair .. I usually don't like progressive, but the fucking guy kept me dancing the whole time.
That Tiesto guy
.. this was my first time seeing the kid. I gotta say, he was nothing spectacular, but fuck he's only human, the guy was tired and still put on a decent show. I had fun and 99% of people at the koolhaus did as well, and that is all that matters!. Highlight of his set? .. Urban train!!!
That other black dude ..man! I knew I should have stayed longer for his set! He looked pumped up as soon as he came on!
Shout-outs to all the TAs and Alks who showed up. We shall see some new TAs come aboard. I believe half of kool-haus knew about tranceaddict.com by the end of the night. Why? ..cause i got the fucking meet up spot wrong and kept going around asking people.. ARE you a TA??!. Most popular response: "No man, I havent gone to university yet"
So i took the time and explained to everyone about tranceaddict.com. they all promised to check it out haha.
Tordan.. Happy bday again dude.. You are jokes when you are drunk
Till next time..
irony...
I think it's so funny how I never saw fantom (who must hate us by now for calling him 347 times last nite), and yet he ran into Brunette, the other 'mystery' TA, who bailed halo20 when they were supposed to meet up earlier yesterday. http://www.tranceaddict.com/forums/...&threadid=80127 And sage came thru after all- I really thought u were a write off with those tickets when u didn't show at Timothy's.
I really had no expectations of Tiesto. I was probably the only person NOT pumped about the event prior to it happening. I find myself more pumped to see the TA's more than I am the DJ's these days. Like I said, I have no complaints about the set- he kept me moving all nite, but it was no mind-blowing experience. I think Hordash was the most disappointed of all. Sorry dude.
That gap of silence was due to technical difficulties- no one should complain about that. I thought the KH looked GREAT, but the humididty/ dripping in the room sucked. My jeans were soaked front the bottom up.
I just woke up a 1/2 hr ago. Gotta go to a bar mitzvah dinner now. I'ts not gonna be pretty.....
ok honestly guys. i saw that HUGE sign and im wonderng: WTF DOES TUNE MEAN?!?!
that was HILARIOUS. that was a BIG sign! also, were those guys part of guv? if not how the hell did they get those HUGE poles in?
Tiesto @ KH
Tiesto kicked ass, was glad to meet a few TA's for the first time.
His set contained variety and switched between hard energetic to mellow and melodic at just the righ times.
Not as crowded as i expected, which is a good thing, had room to dance.
Dekoze kept the place alive till the end, many stayed till then.

I dunno guys.. I was pretty nervous before getting into the club(some of you know why), but once I was in everything changed.. everything was just soo amazing. TAs, Kool Haus looked amazing, it wasn't packed! It felt very peaceful! Amazing feeling!
Tiesto really looks incredible behind the decks! And that despite the fact that he looked very tired..
yea what happend to the piiiicsss?!?! NOOO!
you guys are strange. Yea its not a typical Tiesto set..but doenst that make you happy? Im really happy when I see a DJs style progress instead of stagnating like a few other of the Top 10 DJs. I didnt hear the set he played there, but im really happy with his new techy edgier harder sound. I mean in Edmonton he even played Scot Project-F. Tiesto. Playing scot project. Who would have figured.

Cause I'm addicted to drums and I'm a slave to the.. Dark Beat" |
i expect to hear this track again on Smirnoff Experience

I had no anticipation for this at all. I was completely neutral throughout the whole day, and most of the night till we got in and Luke Fair got me moving. He was amazing. Dropped some dirty, riding progressive beats that got a lot of people moving. When Tiesto finally came on, the crowd was going crazy. It was nice to see so many hands up in the air for this guy. As for his set, overall...wow, really surprised me. I was movin the whole night
The biggest dissappointment was when he ended. WTF was that!? He just cut the song, put his hands up in the air, clapped and walked off. Bullshit! He should've finished it with something big at least, like Universal Nation or Silence.
(???? remix). I know it wasn't the original or the PvD extended mix, but he did drop it. Unless there's a song that has the same synth lines as Flaming June...
Where ever I went, I'd run into some of you
Never partied alone.

well here is my UN-Tiesto night, I spend the whole weekend partly in my bedroom either sleeping or partly in the washroom pucking.
that stupid "Norwalk Virus", I am sitting here finally able to move at all and that's the only reason I am posting at all!
Thiz is my short review cuas I am too tired to type
This party was the one I had been waiting for...BEing the #1 Dj , I cannot believe he only spun for 3 hours...a bit disappointed, but still he rocked the house, with some classics as well as new ones.
I liked his set better last year, it had more spice to it, but this time around I just had an overall better time.
The VIBE WAS GREAT! It was very european-like as someone had already mentioned, lots of interesting ppl, everyone was nice, but my biggest disappointment is that I didn t meet any TA's....
ANYWays, I also loved the Rhythm is a dancer remix later on by
Deko-Ze, that is one of my all time fav's!
Cool night!!!!
Hope he comes back soon in less than a year!!
Peace!!!!!

indoor rain? i swear i got more soaked from strange liquids dropping from the ceiling than from my own sweat
hella fun..i like the fact that u can actually see the DJ in kool haus rather than have him up in some shady booth like in guv
that rain was other people's sweat my man. i was wondering about that for a while too until i figured it out

w00t!
One of these parties I'll actually meet up with you guys... hahah someday..
I had an amazing time... Good tunes, good times...The crowd was friendly and not whacked-out for a change... Not too mention I had more than enough room to dance and have fun with the glowies...Plenty of energy all night to keep me going...I was glad to see minimal vocals and some good tech-trance... Lots of fun... w00t!
Each and everyday my tastes are moving towards tech-trance..
ANybody see a Navy Blue T-Shirt with "Wet Pusse" on the front hahah.. That was me!
Later...Time for some sleep.
Just want to mention that Opera Song which sounds sooo cheesy on MP3, actually sounded GREAT when Tiesto played ! One of the highlights of the night for me !

The guy looked Eminem like, lol, i saw him in the club later on, he was dissapointed, no Hip-Hop. 50 bucks in the air. There were actually the group of them, they probably were expecting that that balck dude after Tiesto would spin some CRAP, well, he span even harder then Verwest. It didn't sound bad at all. I wish I saw guys face after party. P.S. I have a feeling i am getting to old for the parties like this. Damn, i was so fucking tired. Well, probably cos i am sick... OK, i am going to bad, need some sleep |
Just remembered at track that Tiesto dropped but no one has mentioned:
Plastic Boy - Silver Bath
TUNE!!!
