Toronto was originally abbreviated T.O....pronounced "Tee Oh"
but then ppl were like what?? to? what u talking about heh.
so then they pronounced the punctuation...tee dot oh dot...shortened to t dot

yup, it seems to have worldwide recognition now...just look at Sean Desmen(?) and his "This is how we rock it in the T Dot" song...

Sadly it's a name we'll have to live with for many years, till the spirit of teenie boppers across the nation are broken and filled with trance.

Well of course it's all about the BPM!

The cheesy vocals won't bug you if you ignore the words. Though admittedly I only like about 10% of the HHC that's out there...

Posted by mot10n on Jan-25-2003 19:43:

yay for happy hardcore! feel the cheese! love the cheese! the main reason i love hhc is becuase of the cheesy lyrics! feb 8th, next hulla, power of dreams, woo

"come along and join the scene, live your life like a rave machine!"

liam, you should come, i wanna see how you'd dance to it, lol.

Ken...if i had free passes, id go cos as i mentioned...i dont really dig that music so i wouldnt wanna pay for it, but if its a free party or within single digit range for cover, id check it out..however i think hullabaloo or watever is wat 25 bucks or something right??? me no gots that kinda money

and Ken..i know why u want me to go for that...so i dance like a fool in my uplifting style of waving hands and shit and get laughed at by the HHC fans

PFfFFFFt.. My 200BPM comes from something more classic

Posted by mot10n on Jan-25-2003 20:27:

you wouldn't get laughed at, you'd get PLURred and given bracelets and such, hehe. seriously, if you enjoy the music, who cares how you dance. but you said you don't really enjoy the music...

just wait for the next iDance .. if it ever happens again .. it's free there ..

True raves come from HHC, Jungle etc.
All this trance/prog tries to imitate it.

dEsidEL - Do you think they'll be another iDance? When?

Posted by Porky on Jan-27-2003 09:43:

yup

i have to say that the Toronto scene is SOOOOO MUCCCHHHHH better than here in chicago

i'm thinking of moving to Tdot in a few years!

Pork!
