Indeed, Max Graham makes me wish I was Canadian

Posted by Thierry on Mar-28-2003 16:55:

It's not trance, but Richie Hawtin is by far the best thing we've ever made here in Canada

Posted by contemplator on Mar-28-2003 18:39:

Progressive: phark too hard, all the Zero Tolerance crew (Phil K, Gab Oliver, Luke Chable, Ivan Gough etc), the Our House (Global Recordings) crew (Sean Quinn & Kasey Taylor) can't split em

Techno: hmm Simon Digby (Wet Musik)

Trance: Ultrasun is cheeze, but bleh, let me know if anyone in Oz is a decent trance producer

Drum n Bass: Greg Packer

Hard Trance: our best known is probably Pee Wee Ferris

House: Wok Institute

Altitude aka Steve Gibbs (think thats his name) is an aussie.

Infusion don't make techno breakbeat prog trance, a la hybrid.

Posted by Boss Drums on Mar-29-2003 01:45:

I wish there was a trance producer making a name for himself here in Canada, but because there really isn't, Max Graham is the man.

Posted by Sid on Mar-29-2003 02:38:

Oh geeze, I dont think we have any recognised producers ! maybe Mark Dynamix, but no else rings a bell

Posted by wedge on Mar-31-2003 22:39:

sweden:
as already mentioned antiloop. cari lekebusch and stonebridge are two other great producers.

Posted by fr0st on Mar-31-2003 23:33:

Ok gabriel and dresden or good producers and all.....but in no way are the even remotely close to even being in the same league as BT.......

BT forever..........

Posted by djdl on Mar-31-2003 23:40:

i'd definitey say gabriel and dresden. nobody can touch them. they are so original, and their productions speak for themselves. remember that they are generally new producers and havent put out as much stuff as BT. Danny Teneglia is a fine producer as well.

listen to the quality and the complexity of BT's tracks its like hes got a million things going on at one time....Im not trying to G&D are poor producers...or anything, cuzz i know i love just about all of their productions. Its just that BT's rhythm paterns and his plethora of effects and synth pads/leads...and such it still drives me crazy to listen to hip hop phenomenon and try and figure out how many things hes got going on in it.....But I guess it all comes down to personal preffrence...Im just pointing out why BT is my favorite artist....

Posted by Pio on Apr-01-2003 00:02:

That's easy, Robbie Rivera
