And I should also Mention i was Torturing myself watching the Cubs game...but I didn't say anything because I'm a good jynx...but they won this game...phew...

I don't know if this will ever be a good thing. It's only going to make it that much worse and more depressing when they finally lose out. It's probably worse than cheering hard for them all year over and over when they used to finish 20 games back. LOL

ok back to the last couple minutes of the Yotes game...

Posted by daffodil on Oct-11-2003 04:40:

a couple i waited on tonight was from chicago and had me checking the score of the cubs game for them. apparently the cubs have the curse of the goat? we were discussing the outcome if both the cubs and the bambino-cursed red sox win.

he speculated that because both teams have open stadiums, a huge snow storm or other natural disaster would prevent a world series between the two teams cursed to never win a world series.

you baseball people are flaming crazy.

Posted by PhloTron on Oct-11-2003 04:50:

yup the goat...it's a terrible terrible curse...and it haunts them every year they are pretty good...1945, 84, 89, and a valiant 98.

And although hell has had frost warnings...it's a long way to freezing over, and a cubs win in the world series.

In other news...YOTES scored in OT...

OW OW HooOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWW WWWWWWWWWWWLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Restless sleep the minds in turmoil
One nightmare ends another fertile
Getting to me so scared to sleep
But scared to wake now, in too deep.

Even thought its reached new heights
I rather like the restless nights
It makes me wonder it makes me think
There's more to this I'm on the brink
It's not the fear of what's beyound
It's just that I might not respond
I have an interest almost craving
But would I like to get too far in ?

ok, ok WAKE UP you bored little banshees!

well no one is interested and you're all probably still asleep but I'm having a bad morning.

So from my part of the world, Abba:

Merry-go-round
Where am I bound
With my love and feelings
Merry-go-round
Who wants to kiss me
And hug me and miss me
Yes, who wants to do it
I wish that I knew it
Merry-go-round
Wish I had found
Somebody to care for
Where am I bound
Life is so lonely
If life is just only
To love with my loving
Goes round and round

I am totally not comfortable leaving my posts up. But I haven't deleted that many posts this weeks. I guess I'm getting better.

I'm homesick. My mom hasn't sent e-mail for almost one week. I think she forgot her password. When I was home, I would always remind her what it is. My classes are very difficult.

I know none of this means anything. It just feels a little better to type it.

if it makes you feel better, echo, I just a ham sandwich on a bagel.

I'm still awake and just reflecting on my week of hiking in the chisos and guadalupe mountains. It was a great experience, but also made me sad because of all the pollution which mostly comes from American companies who operate factories in Mexico to avoid environmental regulations. They just dump their toxic waste into the Rio Grande river, and release it into the air without filters on the smoke stacks. It also comes from farms near the river who spray their fields with pesticides that runoff into the river. Of course with the Bush EPA (and Texas' version of EPA) they don't enforce anything because mostly only industry lobbyists were appointed. Bush also wants to turn the national parks and forrests over to commercial interests for them to rape. People around the world should be outraged about this because pollution released in one area doesn't stay in one small area due to the water cycle, and climatic forces.

I've decided after breathing the choking air, and being so close to the river that I could smell the sewage and industrial pollutants what I want to devote my life to...

I feel bad for all the people who live on the Rio Grande River. There are babies born with serious birth defects at the end of the river because of all the pollution in the area. Babies without limbs. Without brains. It's almost as bad as the Ganges in India.

Pics soon.

dave, sounds like an incredible experience. i'm so glad you've found some motivation and purpose in life. i'm feeling like that's a little hard to come by right now! can't wait to hear about what you're going to do.

I get a little annoyed when this thread falls all the way to the bottom of the 2nd page or even onto the 3rd page.

I guess all threads fade away...eventually.

There are too many light blue balls on the left side of the window on this page and since Mr S is wherever he is without a computer, all those light blue balls mean I'm posting too often. And I'm not deleting. Which bothers me less these days.

I went to study with a friend; we both had to read the same 53 pages. She finished and I had 17 more to read. So I am slow. I always suspected I am slow but I never tested it.

So hi to all who read our thread (I know I'm not really a part of the "our" because I deleted so much)...

Ok so i had to read about 8 or so pages to ketchup on all thats been happening.

Last i left we were talking about upcoming PvD show at Glow. But i went home after that day and i didnt get online till i came back to school.

Occrider i did meet u once, i remember. Was it during Armin way back in June? I cant recall but we were at the front to the right (like usual)

Daffodil sorry again I wasnt able to see you on Saturday i was all over the dance floor looking for you. lol i was making so many people mad coz i was drunk and stumblign everywhere. I almost got in a fight with this wanker who i accidently bumped into. He kept fucking staring at me and I stared right back.

Anyways that night was so fun tho now that i look back on it it went by too fast.. maybe because i chugged a water bottle full of 100 proof Smirnoff before i went in. But it was still a hell of a lot of fun.

On the NYTA forum u can see pics from the night. Im the red-haired guy. Those pics dont do me any justice coz im all hot and sweaty and my hair is uber-long. I havent cut my hair since May and i have a semi-mullet Danny Bonaduce look going on heh heh!

seriously though czech out www.djelecation.com and click on galleries. Thats me Reuben matt and Gabriel and Dresden outside of Glow.

Now that you know what I look like maybe it will be better if you try and find me next time. Im tall too so you can prolly pick me out in the crowd.

Posted by Mebot on Oct-16-2003 09:06:
