Well folks another Thursday has reached us, which means that it's Global DJ Broadcast day. However, this is not a traditional episode.

Tune in to the Global DJ Broadcast World Tour, this month featuring resident mixologist Markus Schulz, recorded live from the Hitec Starhall in Hong Kong.

In November 2007, the Global DJ Broadcast World Tour concept debuted in the Chinese city of Shanghai. 17 editions later, the country is under the microscope once again; this occasion however featuring the city of Hong Kong.

This past Wednesday, Markus featured as one of the headline acts for the official launch party of DJ Mag China. In many of his interviews in the latter part of last year, Markus recalled his gig in Hong Kong as one of his personal favorites throughout 2008, and greatly anticipated this occasion to be just as special.

To relive the night again, tune in on Thursday June 4th for the next edition of the World Tour, as the continent of Asia is represented for the second time, live from the Hitec Starhall in Hong Kong, China.

The Progressive Showcase returns today (Monday June 8th) for another two hours of the finest in progressive dance music. Episode 034 will see me presenting another of my extended two hour solo mixes. I'll be in control of the entire 120 minutes of the show with an uninterrupted mix featuring a whole host of contemporary favourites alongside some excellent new material.

I always relish presenting the extended sets as they give me a means to delve deeper into my CD wallet & to showcase a wider variety of music, this week's show will feature a broad range of tracks ranging from some deeper tech-house right through to peak-time progressive. Expect to hear productions & remixes from the likes of Cirez D, Moonbeam, Eelke Kleijn, DJ Remy & many, many more.

The show is scheduled for broadcast Monday June 8th from 17.00 - 19.00 exclusive to http://www.sense.fm via The Progressive Channel. I'll be updating a live tracklist thread complete with links via the tracklist forum on TA. I very much hope some of you can tune in!

The wait is almost over. On June 29th, Markus Schulz will release his hotly anticapted Thoughts Become Things album, produced under his Dakota alter ego. Although the name has been around for 10 years, the Dakota project has really burst into life in 2009, storming the download charts and on heavy rotation among the world's biggest DJs.
