i was about to bust out my typical snobbery and say "get techs" but i decided to instead download your mix renco, and it's very good!

i had heard bad things about Soundlab decks, but I am impressed you can do that on this equipment, all the mixes are very tight, i reccomend you guys download the mix!

I think that comment only shows you didn't spin on many different decks. (No offense meant, really!)
I don't think there is much of a connection between the quality of your mixes and your equipment. If you practice enough, you can do awesome mixes on shit equipment and vice versa.
I've posted this already but I will post it again (trying to proove my point):

with THIS being the pitch control knob:


now if you put your average Technics DJ behind this Sony deck he will go insane because the drive is weak (although it's direct drive) and that pitch knob is very awkward to handle. But since this was the first deck I ever got, I practiced so long till I was able to use it with ease.
I can adjust the pitch so fine that the records will stay in sync for a minute or so. As many people said: practice makes perfect.
Good to see that other people here (Renco) don't rely on the most expensive equipment to make great mixes.

no proper monitors yet and the headphones i have atm suck ass, left out of the pic too, cuz i forgot them, but then again i just got the gear and am just trying to learn how the fuck to mix and stuff!

oh and to all the cdj bashers! all the cds in my collection are proper legal original releases, so stfu and fuck off if you intend on bashing cdjs for playing illegal stuff!

Actually that's a 1976 Pioneer SX-1250 (650Watt RMS). Got it on ebay last year, it's in great condition.
