fuck, I just felt the urge to punch something, too. It's almost as annoying as [insert praise here] about [Barry Bonds/the Patriots/Bud Selig].

HEY NOW!!!

GO PATS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Posted by shaw on Aug-13-2007 04:07:

I almost made a Bill Walsh joke, but that was too far.

...I don't like Bill Belichick.

I'd hate the best NFL Head Coach ever too if he wasn't a Pat!!!

Posted by shaw on Aug-13-2007 04:19:

he's still another graduate of the Barry Bonds school of public relations. He's just such a fucking prick, and he passes it down to every player on the team. It's that classic confident/cocky line. You can convince people that they can beat anyone without convincing them that all their competitors are inferior.

Then again, it's classic NE thing.

i still think it's too soon to make a Bill Walsh joke, since he died recently.

Posted by shaw on Aug-13-2007 04:59:

I know...that was the basis of the joke :/

hey at least we can still make some Rob Nen jokes. Same city, different sport and different guy. both died.

Posted by shaw on Aug-13-2007 05:51:

I like Rob Nen

Is Mark Wohlers dead yet?

Yeah, in thinking about it I don't consider them to be a dynasty. The championships were way too spead out. That doesn't equal dynasty. Sorry it just doesn't. They aren't even repeat champions or made the finals the previous year. That term is thrown around too much.

Pats...3 super bowls in 4 years? I think that isn't the classic definition of 4 championships but football is harder to repeat in all of sports. Has any team won more than 2 in a row? No. So 3 out of 4 should be the gauge. Therefore, I'd give the Cowgirls and the Pansies as the only ones. Begrudgingly..... yuck

Yankees 1996-2001, that's a dynasty!! Especially being the best team ever assembled (1998).

plus, its San Antonio... they got................ONE professional team.... ONE.... thats not a sports city/town/region.... Dynasty also depends on where it is... unless the......Carolina Panthers go out and win 4 super bowls in a row, then well, i'm full of shit...

but what I'm saying, if the Bulls or Lakers did what the Spurs have done, it'd probably be more of a dynasty than the boring-ass spurzzzz....

classic NE elitist bullshit.

they're not a dynasty because they've never completely dominated every other team for a stretch of years. Dynasty status has nothing to do with location.

lol, and I wasn't even going for that... I didn't mention the Celtics on purpose, and I still come off as Elitist???

Shit, GO ME!!!

Posted by Kapedano on Aug-14-2007 00:45:

Actually, I agree. They are not a dynasty yet. If they can win it this upcoming year, I think they will be. Still, the Lakers won three straight, whereas we have never won two in a row. Kind of sad. We were close though.

Mentioning the Celtics obviously wouldn't be elitist since they've sucked for countless years.

it was an EXAMPLE... ass

Well, who do you think will be early favourite for the next season? I suppose, that Mavs will be no afraid of rising Warriors and finally win!

Posted by Kapedano on Aug-15-2007 17:22:

I will be the first one to say it, Rockets will pass the first round next season. Mark my words.

Posted by chorche on Aug-16-2007 13:37:

Maybe yeah, maybe not, I am still unsure about Yao, he did`t seems like a great player, he is only exotic attraction....

hopefully they do it beating Sacramento kings

Posted by chorche on Aug-23-2007 20:16:

Kings seems too weak to dominate at their division, that team will be not a big challenge for other teams, Houston seems much stronger....
