I used to do that with my old phone because I guess some Mexican family had a very similar number. I was getting phone calls from across the border at 3 and 4am...fucking annoying. Anyway, I don't do it now because the phone is my alarm clock

Some phones have a silent setting that allows for alarms though. You should check into it.

If that doesn't work, threaten the phone with your Hattori Hanzo.

my oldish nokia allows for personalised settings so i have it on silent but the alarm works aloud.

yea i was thinking that myself. my phone will stay silent, but i can chose which ring and volume separately for the alarm.

I love the alarm on my phone. There's something soothing or gentle about it...it's not invasive to my sleep. Makes it a pleasure to wake up to. Sounds gay, but it's true.

I thought I had to have a really obnoxious alarm (like the one in my bedroom) to get up...but I see now that it makes it harder for me to get up.

Must be reverse psychology or something.

i know what u mean. when i use my phone as my alarm (usually when i'm not at home) i set it to some sound, i forget which one, but it's really nice and peaceful. the one at home is an obnoxious bell-like sound. haha

makes me wake up like, "FUCK U ALARM!"

i should start using my phone alarm.
