My family expect me to make it happen, some people are pretty good about making you feel like a bad person for not attending their event. I would much prefer to attend a sporting event than a wedding to tell you the truth. Also, I have a friend who works for the Reds maybe I'll see if he can hook you up with something during the game...I'll let you know.

Ususally they ask for 48 hours of you keeping your body clean. Drink lots of water and go to GNC and get Golden Seal and that will do the trick. When is the test?

thanks a lot. i've got some golden seal at home. no test yet. i just wanted to find out ahead of time b/c i'm applying for some jobs that require testing .

Totally hear you on that. Have taken a few in my time. Just stop for the 48 hours and follow the instructions on the box and you should be all good. H2O is your friend from now until then

the only real sure thing i know that works is qcarbo herbal cleanse which you can buy from vitamin shoppe or gnc. though i'd recommend vitamin shoppe because they sell it for much cheaper. i was on probation back in the day and i would be able to smoll the night before and use that the next day. anyways... gluck w/ that testing.

If people said it doesn't work then that means they were not following the instructions. It works! I've taken it and passed and used to be on probation as well

Amazingly enough my current job doesn't test not even for the hiring process.

Honestly, I hope they at least make you take the test after the effort. I stopped smoking for 2-3 months-ish, just to have my director tell me "Meh, you dont look like the type to do drugs." I coulda been lighting up all along.

thanks lyss Dont get too excited for me though. I am in such debt from my masters, that I will have to wait at LEAST 3 years or so before I can afford the doctorate!!

That sucks but better safe then sorry. I started at job that said they might drug test, they say nothing. Start my first day, nothing, then Tuesday, my second day and the one girl is like so you took your drug test already right... not quite and seeing as how I partied it up the weekend before I was shittin bricks right there. HR and her where all like oh whatever your chill, go whenever to take the test. THANK GOD...waited to clean the system a little, took my herbal cleanse and passed with flying colors. But I am telling you for the next week I was paniced evertime I tried to walk in the place. Thought they where going to stop me right then and there and be like get the hell out. LOL

hehe.. I know that feeling, my ID would not work to let me into the building 2days after I took my test and I'm like "wtf, they can't even tell me to my face!"

I just got back about 10 minutes ago. So I'm officially a member of Local Union #3. The thing took entirely too long. We walked in around 6pm. There were some people checking everyone in, that took about 25 minutes for it to get done. We didn't get started until around 7:15pm, give or take, which was absolutely ridiculous. Everyone was starting to get pissed off because they were taking so long. The whole "ceremony" took about 45 minutes. We took an oath then got our cards. Some people had family members in the union with them there. They were the ones who got to go first so they can present them their card. Had I known this I would have taken my dad, but they didn't let anyone know that's how it works. Then when they were done with that they started with everyone else. Since it was done alphabetically I knew I was gonna be sitting for a while since my last name starts with S. Once the guy reading off the names got to M, he started choosing names at random. I would have been out a good 15 min earlier if he hadn't done that. Oh well, it's a one time thing and it's over with. Atleast I have all the benefits to look forward to now!
