I didn't dig this year's lineup at all. Like some people said, they had some great moments but also a lot of bad ones. Though of course, Prophet and Zany delivered like they were expected, along with Showtek and Catscan completely surprising the crowd... but the rest...? The rest just wasted a good dance event.
If I had to do the Black lineup, I'd do this:
- DJ Scot Project
- Yoji Biomehanika
- Blutonium Boy
- Lady Dana vs. DJ Luna
- DJ Pavo & The Prophet
- DJ Zany & DJ Isaac
- DJ Promo or DJ Dione or Tommyknocker
- Neophyte
what happened during the rob gee set?

Rob & crew all have to pay 2500 euro's fine. The guy who climbed up on the stage is going to be called into court ( doesn't say why, probably for bumrushing ) |

| Originally posted by DJ FireWire He played like 3-5 songs with his heavy rock/metal band (though incorporating some scratching and some DJing techniques) but still SUCKING so much that a person from the crowd ran up on the stage and knocked Rob Gee to the ground with straight and direct attack from behind. He threw a punch at Rob Gee and then they all flailed to the ground and Rob's band members started all kicking him, and then Rob kicked him in the head a few times. Then the lights in the whole arena went off while the security took them all off the stage. In other words, what happened was really uncalled for and wouldn't have happened in the first place if they did a good job on the booking. Rob Gee and his crew should NOT have been booked at all. The crowd was constantly booing them and wanted them off the stage, which inspired that person from the crowd to go and start a fight with Rob Gee. |
can somebody please give me the download link for the sensation black 2006 megamix? thank you

Oh yeah I would do ANYTHING as well to see everyone dancing to Voodoo People on the Kai Tracid set.
fighting at Sensation Black. Why am I not surprised. It's like an orgy in serious music
God damn this is so funny have everyone is booing when the guy is getting the shit kicked out of him. Then everyone is cheering when Rob Gee leaves the place.
That was the greatest thing ever.

said very well DJAsh
its messed what happen to the guy who climbed on stage. Also wtf wasn't Marcel Woods added to this for, this pissed me off when he played 30 minute set last year and this time he didn't even play. I hope that Sensation Black adds Marcel Woods, John 00 Fleming and Chris Liebing because even though I love hardstyle/jumpstyle DJ's I still think they need to mix it with other dark edm style.
Same goes for Sneation white, what the deal with all house music DJ and no Tiesto's 30 minute set was a joke.Good thing they booked Ferry Corsten atleast

| Originally posted by pistage Vnatic, I couldn't have said it better myself! Thanks for sharing and thanks for the review. Let's hope that next years sensation won't be this bad, I'm going there then ![]() Imho, I think that Rob Gee and the crew destroyed the evening completely! Even by watching the video I could see that the atmosphere was not the same in the arena as it was in sensation -03 to -05! They even skipped the "dream-ketchup" mumbo jumbo on the last DJ's because of the fear that the crowd will go bananaz and destroy the place. If I would be there, with the tickets paid and all, I would've demand to get the money refunded! Seriously, this year was VERY unprofessional! Expectations on the next year lineup(in this order): Tom Harding - starts up with some hardtrance to get the people going nice and smooth, just like last year! Scot Project - KICKASS dj with mixed styles Dana - continues with some good music(she's a sure card) Pavo - awesome set 2004, capable of doing kick-ass hardstyle sets! Luna - the hardstyle god (next to zany and technoboy )The prophet - guy knows how to do it, now doubt Zany - no words for this guy Last hardcore Dj should be Promo, he rocked the boat 2004! Can anyone agree with me on this one? |

a new addition to the lineup of sensation black could be this dj i saw on friday nite. a japanese dj called energy dai (student of yoji i think). he played sum wicked hard trance/sum hardstyle. they need to get sum new, young talented djs into the bookings as well as keeping the old favourites. add sum new djs to the lineup, not just young upcoming djs, but old faves who havent played before, just to keep some variety into the party. sensation white this year was pitiful, mostly house with barely any variety. im shure ppl dont want this to happen to black id hope. sum djs for the lineup could be:
energy dai
organ donors
blutonium boy
proteus
alex szahala vs. Rx (Finnish djs - so awesum live!!!)
etc
new talent would be much appreciated im shure along with all the old favourites in my opinion...

You guys and your hardstyle.
What would make SB great would be to have a mix of hard trance, techno, hardstyle, and hardcore in the lineup... If it's all hardstyle DJs, then they better play hardstyle, not jumpstyle.
For those who thought Kai Tracid's set was kind of weird (I thought that too), you should all give it another listen. After my second listen, I thought his set was very good.
