well this girl I was sorta talking to before my ex gf. I am taking it slow with her. I just hung out with her again tonight and had a great time. I really feel happy again. I was with someone before and it was fun while it lasted but it wasn't meant to be. We'll see what happens with the new girl. We're not official or anything like that but I know where my heart is...

well i would suggest some clubs... but i hear most of the edm parties/clubs have gotten shut down. the main thing i love about going back to taiwan is the food. you gotta try the beef noodle soup at taoyuan street (near ximen), and also the soup dumplings (i forget the name of the restaurant but its very famous). hrm... what else, i dunno if you're into hiking or nature, but if you go up yangming shan, the views up there are really amazing. you have to go a good distance up though. they also got lots of natural hot springs where you can just chillout and relax.

if i think of anything else, i'll post it up..

I did the SYS memorial hall, two temples on the blue line and had lunch with my friend whose wedding i attended. Had Taiwanese Noodle Soup at the Ambassador Hotel

i'm headed out tomorrow morning. I'm going to go to Bangkok

i managed to squeeze in night market on my last night out in taipei. incredible prices on food there. I got a chocolate dipped frozen banana (one of the few things I can easily trust).

Spock was pleased that he was able to give his Jim so much pleasure. He knew it was an activity outside of the Vulcan culture, but inside their cabin they were safe--and conjugal privacy was held in high regard by his people.

Hello!

hello from singapore

Posted by danlaxx1 on Jul-30-2007 23:55:

Ugh, I'm getting sick. My throat hurts and my body is achy. I'm working in a walk-in refrigerator at work changing lights. We started the job today. We got done 7 out of 40 so far. Which means I'll be doing that through the end of the week, at the very least. It f'ing sucks. I'm gonna wear a heavier fleece tomorrow. The temp in the fridge is around 45F and every time I walk out to get something, it's atleast a 30 degree change. I can't wait until it's over! Hopefully I don't get worse than I already am.

I hear ya Dan. I used to work for a butcher and the entire place was like a giant freezer. No matter how many layers I'd wear I was always cold, even in the summer. I swear I still haven't gotten the chill out of my bones. I recommend under armor and then a bunch of layers on top of that. Too bad you couldn't come out yesterday, it was so much fun! Looking forward to the next one, hopefully you can some to that

Unfortunately, we're not allowed to wear Under Armor because in the case of an electric arc (spark) or explosion, the material will melt to the skin and make the situation worse than it already is. However, I have decided to wear layers. I'll prob wear a t-shirt, long sleeve t over that then my fleece. That might be overkill but I'd rather be safe than sorry.

I don't do Sundays. I usually use that as my day of rest. Occasionally, I'll play cards with my friends, but it has to get started in the early afternoon because I like to be in bed by 8-9pm to get ready for the work week.

Haha well as with ANY street vendor, u take ur chances don't u? Lol. I doubt any places have strict sanitary practices in that part of the world but I wouldn't claim to know that for sure lol...well except for Singapore - but not sure if that applies to food also

Soo when ru back?

Mother******, I have no idea how I made it through work. I'm feeling a lot worse than I did yesterday. Same symptoms, just multiplied by 10. It sucks ass. I'm f'ing miserable. I was in the refrigerator changing lighting fixtures again. In the morning it was at 42F but gradually dropped down to 36F in the afternoon. Those 6 degrees are REALLY noticeable. I was cold the entire day. Hell, I even wore my fleece while I was walking from York to Lex. Everybody thought I was crazy but the scary thing is that I was still a little chilly and didn't even sweat. I don't know if I'm gonna go in tomorrow. It all depends on how I feel in the morning. For some reason I don't think this is gonna go away overnight.

Posted by phoenixBEBE on Aug-01-2007 17:19:

^^ hmm i hope you are recovering well, that doesnt sound good at all

i feel MUCH better today.

and what a day to come back!! totally forgot, today is TENANT APPRECIATION DAY! all tenants of 121 River Street get honored with a PARTY right by the Hoboken Riverfront. I was able to escape work for a bit to get some food and take some pics (luckily i had my camera with me). the river side of the building is SOO crowded its insane!!! (not to mention its INSANELY hot today!!! w00t)

i hope everyone is enjoying this BEAUTIFUL DAYYYY

this is definitely the hump day of the week. I am bored here at work working a 2 hour longer shift. My car is getting some work done in the shop. I am looking forward to my gig tomorrow night in Cambridge and seeing Booka Shade Friday night. I am also excited to go to the beach with this girl I've been seeing before the terrace party on saturday. It's going to be mayhem on saturday night! I am kinda bummed out thinking about the fact that she's going to be back in school in upstate new york the beginning of september so I dont know what's going to happen
