As for my day it was blah. I came home early cause I have a dentist appointment around 5 and will find out if I need a root canal

I got my per diem check for the weekend today and it is barely 1/4 of the last one which is good. It means I won't be there very long. But at least I don;t have to go to NYC and do the install we are doing there at the end of next week. I hate NYC.

I think I kind of missed the 80s. It ended when I was 5. In one of my deleted posts, I said that I can't figure out what lyrics are 80s (vs 70s or 60s or 50s) so if I missed by a few years or few decades...ummm, no big deal. So from this moment forward, I'm special in that I'm not restricted to the 80s thingy. But I did see a bit of that 80s show on VH1. RAther cool.

80s info....Vh-1 (stands for Video Hits One) was MTV's secondary station that played adult contemporary music back in the late 1980s Richard Marx, Michael Bolton, Kenny G, Bruce Hornsby and the Range were all big on their playlist. It was not until the mid 1990s that they revamped into a music news and info sort of station and eventually migrated to their current format. Which is, oddly, what MTV was like when Vh1 was new.

But the I Love the 80's show is stellar. I think they are going to show the Safety Dance in tonight's episode woop!

Man, I'm so homesick. How are things there? When you come to study here, will you be in an advanced degree program? It's difficult to understand some professors in undergraduate classes. Some don't speak English very well and it's hard for someone like me to figure out what they are saying.

i don't think you would be rather here than there now, the fall/winter is here, it's rainy/snowy/cold... you don't miss it, belive me

I haven't decided what to study yet, haven't really decided if i'm going or not yet either. But probably i will. Think i have to february or so to make up my mind..

what are you studing? at university/high school? could you recomend me something?

It was fast cause my dentist's office is 75 feet from my apartment door

Good news for my pocketbook , bad news for Mr Tooth .

The cavity goes too far down for a root canal and a crown to be effective in the dentist's opinion. Which saves me money. The bad side is that if the sedative filling he put in does not make it possible to fill it normally I will lose the tooth. Oh well, it is the back tooth on the bottom and I already lost the one above it. It is pretty much an extraneous tooth right now anyway.

The great thing about living in the 80s is that i was a kid. I wasnt a teenager and i wont be mortified looking back at the outfits i wore and the hairstyle I had.

ugh, me too. i woke up with a migraine and tried a new med i've been put on because i was tired of taking three times the recommended codeine dose.

anyway, this new stuff was supposed to get rid of the pain without knocking me out the way codeine did. LIARS! i was on my ass, or back rather, all afternoon and i hadn't even noticed that i had fallen asleep. i had to get up for an appointment at 4 and i was woozy. my depth perception and motor skills were a little off too...

so i'm not falling asleep too quickly either

i have trouble waking up in general. i'm a very good/heavy/long sleeper, so if i take sleep aids i just don't get up. i don't get up half the time anyway
