You can get them at the Leftorium?, I didn't know that.

But wouldn't a left handed turntable have the tonearm on the right anyways, leaving the left hand more room to scratch and tweak the record?

Haha if u guys looked closely you can see the Technics Logo backwards. And for the slow ones, don't think that there are tables with tonearms on the left... otherwise the vinyl would have to pressed in the opposite direction!!

no, cause if the cartridge faced backwards it would play as if the tonearm was on the right, just as if the tonearm is on the right and the the cart was backward it would play backwards.

Here is my little setup - 2 technics m3ds, pioneer djm-600, and a lonely vestax pmc-03a mixer that needs a new home.

I've been watchin this thread for a while, and i've been waiting to get a digital camera to show my setup. so here it is, my ghetto dorm setup




thats it, 2 ghetto numark tt1650's
numark DM950 mixer
random headphones
just hooked up to the reciever/computer.
and about 50 trance records.

nice I used to have those numarks... if you still like to spin after usin those bad boys, youll never give up heh. Once you get techs spinnin becomes almost easy

I have them and it's damm hard to beatmatch, I have pretty much given up on them. wish i'd saved for 1210's now

well, workin on $100 bucks a month (most going to records) i don't have much choice, but some new techs would be really nice (note to anyone looking to sell.

I agree completely. They frustrated me to a point of stopping for a few months, then came back with a new passion and haven't looked back since. And yes, it does become waaaay easier with any decent deck than the Numarks.
