Last night I checked my temp just for the hell of it and it turned out I had a fever (101.9). I took today off because this morning my throat was KILLING me and I still had a fever (it went down to 100). I'm really glad I didn't go in though, I'm starting to feel better. This is the first day I've taken off since I started nearly 6 months ago, so I really could use the break!

I hope so. I have been told by friends to not get too attached but I can't help how I feel. She said we'll take it slow. I want it to work out. You will meet her saturday though

well thast good to hear, rest and relaxation always does ppl good. 101.9, not bad but not great either...but make sure to see ur doctor! A sore throat may be indicative of something else, no?

thanks for the sentiment. well it wasnt funny **yesterday** but its funny now -- i actually got dizzy on the train on my way to work, and ended up having to get out at the Roosevelt Island stop -- as u know, you usually ONLY gain access to the island via tram from Manhattan or by riding the F or V train. well the train station was f*ckin humid so I felt like i would totally pass out on the platform...not to mention i was in no condition to walk back 3 blocks to the train station. so imagine me, sitting in the HOT blazing sun outside for 30-45 min, trying to sit up and not pass out altho i was in and out (probably half heatstroke also), wondering/panicking a little...like HOW the HELL i was gonna get off this island (lol). yes its silly but i wasnt *thinking* atm.

well eventually i chanced it and called car service and turns out there is *ONE* bridge that gives LIC access to Roosevelt Island! man i soo did not know that before. well anyway so i made it home. *minicrisis* averted. haha

MUCH BETTER DAY TODAY.

so i fly all the way across the country and now i'm sitting at home bored. everyone i know is at work and my parents didn't leave me a car key so i'm stuck inside...if only i knew how to hotwire a car. most exciting things i could do is walk to Starbucks like 20min away or watch all the Entourage episodes i've missed...the only plus is that i've DL'ed a bunch of sets so listening those should keep me occupied until everyone i know leaves work.

^^^ That's awesome!!! Good Job on everything you have been doing. You are really lucky to be a part of the union that you are involved in. My grandfather was a plumber for local union #3 WAY BACK IN THE DAY!!! and they were like my mom's second family. Everyone had everyone else's back. You really don't find that in the work place any where else. Keep up the good work and feel better

Thanks Mere!! It definitely means a lot coming from a Yankee fan!!! I really believe that I am lucky to be in this union.

Quick correction... The plumbers union in NYC is Local #1 But I won't hold that against you since the numbers are so close together. But you're right, I see the plumbers on the job and they are like a second family to each other.

I didn't think my day couldn't get any better but it did... At dinner time I found out that the school for apprentices is being moved from 100th & 1st to 58th b/w Broadway and 7th! That's fucking awesome for me since I was literally RUNNING AT FULL SPEED EVERY school night to catch the 8:42pm train. This also means that I won't have to spend $17 on a cab ride! It's such a relief to be so much closer to Penn Station!

wow thats def a HUGE change in ur commute...fabulous yeah $17 every day DOES drain the wallet after awhile no doubt thats CRAZY far from Penn Station! so when does this move go into effect?

mann so tired today, had to pack last night for my trip but i kept delaying it delaying it...i absolutely HATE packing, total ADD when it comes to it; everything distracts me. I dont have the discipline for it, unlike Drew who is very organized with this stuff. LOL. then got into this conversation with a friend which didnt end till 2am, was even late getting into work cuz i felt sick from not getting enough sleep

i write my boss on my Blackberry and hes like, "Take it easy, and did u forget i was working from home? ;-) " (Lol, hes the best!!!)

Right now i cant sit still cuz i get to leave at 3pm today, thank god its already gona be 11am soon

wooo, today is the besy day I got to sleep in (til 9 LOL, thats a huge relief for me!!), and workout, cuz we are having a company beach/picnic day at 1pm No work, just sunning, BBQ'ing, and games (too hot, I may sit out with the divas in the shade!!) lol

then..........HAPPY HOUR!!!!!!!!! Hopefully the weather holds out, but in anycase, we can always have drinks IN DOORS!! the AC may be a better option anyways!!





Then the weekend begins!! South Hampton beaches with my sis!!!

PARDON THE RANT BUT I AM IN MUSIC WITHDRAWAL!!!

These ******s at the "internet department" at my job just blocked EVERY single fucking uploading website that I use to DL music to listen to while I am at work (every site you have ever heard of or can even imagine). It literally feel like I have lost my entire purpose and I can't even focus. That is what I used to get me going in the morning when I didn't really feel like being here to begin with. It made the days here at least somewhat bearable Now I can't get any new sets
This makes me sooo angry I want to crash they're whole system

oh yea i am so fulfilled when i leave theo ffice at 1130! i fucking love it! ..yes we use coke, weed, e, asian massagists (oh yea baby)!!! haha.. everything goes down on that trading floor!
