i wanted to say something but...

Posted by Slylee on Jun-05-2009 16:30:

of course i do his laundry. before i could get away with not having to put his stuff away, but now that i don't work, he comes home and is like, "so what did you do today huh?" while he looks around to inspect and make sure stuff is done lol (joking of course)

i've already said this before, but i'd rather have a guy who is clueless about fashion and just tells me to buy him whatever. it's just the part about him wanting me to tell him what to wear whenever we go out that's annoying. lol like mel said, i'm too busy focusing on my own outfit, thanks.

Posted by Zild on Jun-05-2009 16:32:

It's ok. I've been bitchy ever since I heard they closed down Lounge.

Posted by Silky Johnson on Jun-05-2009 16:32:

You girls are insane. I like a man who can dress his own fucking ass, lol. Thank fuck Jimmy has good taste and his own sense of style.

I must admit I'm a tad jealous of his physique. He's so lean and slender. I mean I don't want to look like a guy, but I would love to have the female equivalent of his body.

Posted by bas on Jun-05-2009 16:33:

Well if Bunny was at home all day smoking weed and she did fuck all for chores I'd get upset too, but I'm talking about when you were employed. Did you do his laundry? Mel, Sarah? Please say yes, that's too funny.

Posted by Silky Johnson on Jun-05-2009 16:34:

Lol @ the thought of doing Jimmy's laundry. His mother did that for him for long enough.

Despite what you girls might think, men don't want another mother, lol. Make him do his own goddamn laundry.

Again, he's COLORBLIND. He dresses himself just fine - he just double checks with me to make sure he didn't accidentally clash something.

There are two piles of laundry. One that has 98% my clothes and 2% his (IF he dresses in anything other than his work clothes that week [ex we went to dinner or something]) and that basket I do.

He does his own laundry for the rest though.

Posted by Ania_xox on Jun-05-2009 16:37:

why don't we all take advice from this guy on women, laundry, and fashion

it is a fallacy in reasoning to deem anything ugly if you look like this

Posted by Silky Johnson on Jun-05-2009 16:38:

You know he did that on purpose though, right?

Oh I forgot you two live together

You win this round

i think patrick would have a much harder time respecting me if he came home every day with the place looking like shit and the laundry piled up and me stoned lol

i enjoy cleaning and i like my place clean, so that's part of my "job" while i'm unemployed. when i was working, he helped out more but that's because there literally wasn't enough time for me to do it all. but now that i have the time, everything gets done and obviously he has no complaints.

and just because i like to clean and take care of him in a lot of ways, doesn't mean i'm a doormat or that he treats me like one. he totally appreciates the way i am. his mom never worked and stayed home and cooked and cleaned and babied him sorta but she also has a "dont fucking piss me off" side too that he repsects. i'm pretty much like that. i love doing things like that, but don't be a jerk about it or act like it's expected, or i'll most likely tell you to fuck off lol

well you were saying like no guy wants their gf to do his laundry like his mom did but i disagree. most men seek out qualities in women that their mom's have. i fucking love his mom to death and he loves his mom a lot too. he has a great relationship with her, it really made me fall for him even more when i flew his mom in for xmas and got to see how they are together.

There is one thing I hate doing most of all. Laundry. If I didn't have to do that for the rest of my life, I would be happy.

Posted by Silky Johnson on Jun-05-2009 16:44:

I agree...but I also think that men don't want another mother.

I clean everything else though. Except the bathroom. I HATE cleaning the bathroom. So I'll clean every single other spot in the house, but he does the bathroom for me

And ps on the shopping thing, he literally works 14 hrs a day (or more) 6-7 days a week, so on the one day off he def does not want to fight with ppl at the mall, so he'll give me a couple hundred $ and I'll go for him (and he gives me $ for me to shop for myself, too! BONUS! )

Posted by Ania_xox on Jun-05-2009 16:49:

Marc did my laundry yesterday

I told him to hang it outside too, on the clothesline because it was nice and sunny out and I don't use a dryer

I almost died laughing watching him hang all my panties in a row with clothes pins lmao

to be fair, I was cooking dinner and had just VIM'd both washrooms and some of his stuff was in there too - the laundry, that is.

yea you're right i was gonna correct myself.

it depends on the mother if you really think about it. if a guy has a doormat mother whom he yelled at and disrespected and she still made his bed and did his laundry, etc... then yea, i know what you mean.

but he seems to generally have a great relationship with his mom and he respects her and she always took care of him and was cool with him. if the mother-son relationship was healthy, then i think it's no biggie that he would seek out a girl who is sorta like her. and i think i am. i will give you the shirt off my back, but don't mistake me for a doormat. i know when to put my foot down and i will, and he knows that.

i'm not one of those girls who is scared of her own shadow and doesn't speak up to people. i'm quite the opposite and that's what he loves about me the most. if anything, HE is the non-confrontational one and i'm always the one bringing shit up or talking shit to his friend when his friend is busting his chops and he won't say anything back lol he acts like a doormat with his partner in work and i'm always telling him to fucking say something, it annoys me.

Posted by elFreak on Jun-05-2009 16:53:

the woman does all of my laundry and picks up my dry cleaning or else she gets no cock.

it is fair, because i do all of the cooking and cooking clean up.

i sure as fuck hope she is not like my mom, because the bitch never did my laundry after 12.

yea a lot of times i'm burned out on cleaning and he'll come home like, "what's for dinner" and i'm like, "you're taking me out somewhere, that's what's for dinner"

Posted by squirrelly on Jun-05-2009 16:55:

lol nice!

Sadly he would know if I said I burned something I'd be lying

Both of his mothers sucked ass and did nothing for him, only his Gma ever took care of him. So when I do stuff (cook, clean, etc) he always buys me flowers or takes me out to dinner to show how much he appreciates it. Or he'll go the extra effort and make me one of my fav breakfasts or something.

Posted by Slylee on Jun-05-2009 16:59:

plus i only pay $200 in rent here lol that's it. i dont split utilities or anything. so it's pretty much understood that i do the cleaning and (most) the cooking around here. i have a roommate too and he doesn't do jack shit around here but whatever. like i said, 200/month = me cleaning and cooking, which i love to do so it's a sweet deal for me.

*edit* and no i dont do the roommate's laundry or go near his room lol i just meant like the main house part/kitchen.
