Some people.....I like DigiNut but he seems to point a lot of fingers at this thread and my lyric posting. Ya so I use google to do my lyric lookups, so fucking what? It is faster than typing in the song (which I did early on).

I guess having a mix of musical tastes is not allowed around here?

But ya know, I look at this thread and the Chill Out Room in general as a place where spamming useless (to other people) stuff is fine. I don't post whore in the other forums like some other people do to get a high post count. I use this thread as a place to spam the ind of "crap" that other people start half a dozen threads a day for. That way all of my useless babbling is in one place and people who don't want to read it who are smart won't open the thread and thus should not be bothered by it. If the thread was such a nuisance it would have been closed ages ago. Seeing as there are maybe 6 people who regularly look at this thread and post in it, it seems harmless to me.

I will be the first to admit that I know very little about trance music. I like the music and I find these boards a good way to get some info on it. But that does not mean I am going to stop listening to Twisted Sister, Seal, The Police, Jewel, GWAR, Soundgarden, Beethoven, U2, Faith No More, Queen, Busta Rhymes, Aerosmith, Metallica, or Van Halen (to name a few artists in my collection) just because I have found a different type of music.

This thread is now pretty much kept alive by my ramblings and sig revamps (I have 2 new ones waiting in the queue ) but I know I talk to much, call me an attention whore if you want but I could really care less if people read or reply to my posts. If I was an attention whore I would be starting threads all the time and saying "look at me" and shit. I just post cause it is kind of therapuetic after a long day on my feet working with power tools, sniffing sawdust and welding fumes. Being able to sit down at the computer is relaxing for me because I have a job that requires a lot of physical exertion every day.

I am sort of ranting in here cause the only people who should be reading this thread are the ones who stopped being bored by it 800 posts ago. There is no harm being done in here. We are just rambling on about nothing and Chilling Out.

Negativity will cause this thread more problems than any of the useless waste of space I have posted. So I will stop my rant.

Yep, "The Greatest American Hero" I loved that show as a kid. Only were like 8 episodes, the theme song was more popular and lasted longer than the show

You shoudl use that 10-10-987 thing to call your mom if you can. It is like 3 cents a minute to western Europe with a 39 cent connection fee. Of course you probably can't if you use a dorm phone connection.

Yeah, I can't believe people can actually complain about this thread, considering it's only one thread and it's obvious what its purpose is. Like MrS said, complaining about it will bring this thread down. Thinking about that, I probably shouldn't've started a post off like that.

Anyway, I've had the best day I've had in a while... I fin-fuckin-lly turned in two lab reports that I've been working on for the better part of my time since mid-last week (30+ hours ), so that was definitely a big weight off of my shoulders. On top of that, I have another big homework assignment due tomorrow in Transport (chem e), but I was talking to this guy in my class today who i usually talk to in class (who i found out recently is a quite a big trance fan too and who was also at PvD at glow a few weeks ago, hehe), and i asked him how the homework was. I then asked him if i could ask him any questions on the homework later on once i get started on it, since it seems like everyone and their brother is going out tonight, and i didn't want to spend too much time on it and miss going out. He said, "Yeah sure uh if you have any questions... you know what? Here, this is the first two problems, and if you have any questions on the third one, let me know." and he gave me his work on the first two problems! YOINKS!! That definitely decreased my work for the night by quite a bit.

Then the best thing happened today when i went to lab... We had to do an analytical experiment where we choose our own procedure online and find out how much of something is in something (e.g how much caffeine is in soda, which is what i chose), but when i showed up today, the TAs (teacher's assistants, not tranceaddicts HA! bad joke) were totally confused on it and had never seen anything like it before. Being the cool-ass TAs that they are, they all decided to help me, since my lab partner didn't show up and i'd be alone in trying a lab that the TAs had no idea about. But then they found someone else in the lab that was working alone and they suggested i just join her, considering she already started and we were still trying to figure out what the fuck the procedure was. It's a good thing I did, cause after looking at my previous procedure for a while they concluded that it would've taken all day today (4 hours) plus all day in the next lab session (next thursday, another 4 hours), and the lab that i ended up doing only took us 2 hours today, and we're finished. So that means I don't have any lab next thursday, and i have two extra hours to finish my Transport before we go out tonight! MAN it was a good day!

Sorry for babbling... I'm just so excited cause this is the first day in like 3 weeks where things are starting to look up. Sorry also if that post was a little hard to follow... I'll check back with you guys later tonight if the internet in our apartments gets fixed any time soon. Hopefully the dumbasses have it done by time i get home.

I have to go get some cash from the ATM and some dinner then pack my bags for my trip back to hell. Already ordered ze cab for 6:30 tomorrow morning.

Tomorrow is going to be a long day. Travel all morning, eat lunch, then work all afternoon.

Oh well....after this trip I will be 1000 frequent flyer miles closer to getting special perks

Ive got nothing worthwile to say, i didnt go to sleep till like 5 30 am this morning.. got up at 9 and ive been up going to class and stuff all day.

I will be counting down the hours until my plane leaves on Monday morning as soon as I take off tomorrow.

Canadair CRJ 200's are fun to fly on though. They are so small that they can make turns with such an extreme bank that you feel like you are in a fighter plane

Go to Orbitz...find a fare then go to the airline and search for the same dates....you save 10 bucks that way by bypassing the orbitz fee

i read the dig about this thread and figured i'd let it go. people are welcome to think this thread a waster of time, it'll keep them from posting nonsense and negativity. i'm so happy that this thread has never had a flame war (although it came close when good ol' party princess posted a few) and i like our little banshee community.

anyway, i named this thread because i somehow started using banshee i ways that didn't make sense and i don't know how. i'm always creating random things with language, if you ever talk to me you'll see. i keep it to a minimum when i meet new people though. the only way you usually hear banshee is when people say "wail like a banshee." somehow whenever i meant to convey extremity, i just added "like a banshee." i have to pee like a banshee (always popular when drunk), i slept like a banshee last night, and stuff like that. then it somehow started referring to me, although i'm not a whiner or a wailer.

so, one night i was at home, and bored, so naturally i was a bored little banshee. although at 5'8", i'm really not little either.

summary: banshee is used here only in my random, illogical sense.
