looks like Merriman couldn't win a Super Bowl either

whatever... I just hope the Pats will do well on Sunday, I just don't wanna see Manning in the Super Bowl.

don't worry. manning will never win the super bowl, because the pecking order always falls in place at the end of the day :

the colts own the broncos.
the broncos own the patriots.
the patriots own the colts.

therefore, the pecking order says the patriots are going to the super bowl.

as for the saints-bears game, i hope it gets a little warm, because we southerners can't handle the cold weather. . but i hope beyond hope sean payton has about 30 to 35 plays written up for deuce, and less plays than the usual for reggie bush.

agree with you on all fronts.

just a little question for anyone as i'm ignorant to the answer.. the saints game versus the bears is in chicago right?

<-- hoping so.

the saints won 6 on the road and 4 at home. methinks they have a better chance in chicago.

i'll end with.. go fucking saints! it's about time!

Posted by Kapedano on Jan-16-2007 18:56:

Well the Saints will be Americas team this upcoming weekend, so they will be having alot of fans, including me. I hope they win, I mean, that would be an amazing story. This should be Mannings year, he deserves it, enough said, but honestly, ill be happy if all the teams perhaps chicago win it. I just dont like them.

I predicted Pats V Cowboys for SB XLI but I will gladly take Pats V Saints! Love Drew Brees and Reggie Bush, but Brady is my boy!! Go Patriots!!!

This is why I HATE the Broncos, and why the Colts are my 2nd favorite team in the NFL...

yeah I remember, we both picked the Pats and Cowboys in the Super Bowl... OH WELL, I'll take the Pats..... and I don't care who wins in the NFC... I'd rather see the Saints... so it will be a game.... Bears will get killed against the Pats or Colts...

as I've said before, I got no faith in the Bears, Lovie Smith, or Rex... even at home... I have no faith in that team whatsoever, so I will continue to bet against them, till they prove me wrong... I don't hate the bears, I just don't think they can win...

don't even have to...

what was the Chargers record?

yeah THANK YOU!

regular season records don't mean shit... have you been watching the playoffs... top two AFC seeds... GONE...

Bears beat the Hawks... big deal.. Hasselbeck was playing with broken fingers.... if the Bears beat the Saints, then thats proof that the deserve to be in the SB... but they'll get killed in the SB if they can make it there....

America's team! America's team!

I"m so sick of seeing crap like that. Just like after 9/11, everybody wanted the Yankees to win the World Series. It's just so fake.

indeed. i called the saints making it far into the playoffs back in september, because i knew the nfl would try to sell the whole "katrina factor" and everything. i do think their offense is great and everything, but our surprisingly, i still don't understand why offenses can't rape the saints' defense. their defense sucks if you ask me.

^every playoff/tournament gotta have a feel good/underdog triumph team to them

So you picked the best AFC teams in the last 6 years as your favorite teams???

Mmh... who jumps on the bandwagon here???

I can be proud of me because I'm a Cowboys fan despite they suck since 1996.

Me > u

tom brady & gisele bundchen together? maybe that's why LT was pissed off?

yeah... first off all.. no one is a bigger bandwagoner than YOU...

Colts are the 2nd best team in the AFC the last six years...? How many Super Bowls have they won? They're my 2nd favorite team because they can't WIN when it matters... seeing Belichick dismantle Peyton's luster in the playoffs are some of my most cherished moments EVER... so... fuck off... thanks

god damnit, first we had to endure her horse face at a Pats game last year... now THIS???

Tom needs to realize he's better than her... fuckin A...!

Marty returns to San Diego.

Would have been crazy if they fire him after a 14-2 season. I mean... if you fire people that don't win in the postseason you have to waive Manning too

Posted by Kapedano on Jan-18-2007 01:54:

I cant wait for this weekend to come. I wanna see some great football!

Well here are my picks:

I have the Colts over the Patriots, and I have the Saints over the Bears.

Manning is a great QB and a great guy, he deserves this more than anyone. He has to fight for it, and this is HIS year, hopefully!

Posted by LeopoldStotch on Jan-18-2007 02:18:

my pics:

patriots over @colts
@bears over saints

sorry new orleans. the bus is going to stop here.

Prediction:

Pats vs. Bears for the worst super bowl EVER! So boring in fact, I'm gonna be pissed drunk by halftime really only caring what commercials are gonna be on next. Over/under on my beer intake for this game shall be......12

Personally I might be interested in the Saints make it. Just prefer a well oiled offense.

I'm not gonna say NO...

but do you really think that if the NFL has the Colts in the Super Bowl... they'll actually NOT award Peyton Manning with SB MVP?

I find it IMPOSSIBLE to believe they wouldn't... Peyton IS the Colts... and there would only be one SB MVP nominee if the Colts won... and it would be Peyton... no matter if Addai has 2 TD's or not....

thats how I think anyway... NFL loves Peyton... and you know they want him to win SOMETHING....lol.... before his career is over...

Posted by Dj Smitty20 on Jan-18-2007 23:40:

Manning deserves to win a Super Bowl but he can't control which players surround him. Marino never won a championship either.

Posted by SolemnThirsty on Jan-19-2007 00:11:

i'm sick of hearing oh manning deserves this...then everybody who played in the nfl deserves that ring as well.
