Well folks another Thursday has reached us, which means that it's Global DJ Broadcast day. However, this is not a traditional episode.
Tune in to the Global DJ Broadcast World Tour, this month featuring resident mixologist Markus Schulz, recorded live from Tuesdays at Amnesia in Ibiza.
Ibiza - an island of blue skies, oceans and white sands, and the epicentre of the clubbing world. Home to one of the greatest nightclubs across the entire globe, Markus Schulz packed his bags and recording equipment for this third appearance of the summer at the legendary Amnesia nightclub, on Tuesday August 25th.
The 2009 presentation of the World Tour has broken new barriers, with Miami's Winter Music Conference and the Markus Schulz festival experience being covered on the series for the first time. This forthcoming edition is another first, as the focus of the World Tour is locked into a venue and an island which has seen some of Markus' finest moments as a DJ.
You can catch the best of Markus' set from the night on the 21st edition of the Global DJ Broadcast World Tour, live from Amnesia in Ibiza, on Thursday September 3rd.
This episode acts as a prelude to one week on Tuesday, September 15th, as Markus will bring the curtain down on another fantastic summer at Amnesia - taking solo charge of the main room, and playing an exclusive 8 hour set.

The SEAHAWK project was created by Konstantin Vorontsov in a warm autumn evening in 2006 after he decided to connect his life with music. It has always took a Special Place in his mind. Though Konstantin's tastes have been changing (eurodance-trance-prog trance), he always knew what he values in music - beauty, elegance, depth and dynamics. He started to master his mixing skills in early 2006 and found it very exciting. Soon Seahawk played on real cd-equipment and first gigs in clubs were coming. He also started to learn music producing in spring of 2007.
Now he's in love with high-quality, catchy and atmospheric progressive music. In his sets he aspires to showcase different sound combinations, from breaks to deep, from progressive to trance which are the closest to his inner thoughts, providing an overwhelming voyage to discover new elegant and exquisite sonorities.
Seahawk has become a resident of Pure.FM (USA, Los-Angeles) in march 2009 where he hosts the SILK MUSIC radioshow which is supported by one of the most respected progressive labels - Silk Digital records, Russia. Many talented dj�s and producers are expected to take part as guests here. The show is aired every 4th Tuesday, 21:00 [GMT]

Four Hour Extended Show featuring Tom Bailey, Andrew Bennett, Russell G & Freesoup!

The Progressive Showcase returns Monday September 14th for a very special edition as we celebrate our 100th total broadcast! Since the inception of the show on Wednesday January 25th 2006 we've totalled 99 shows across our various host broadcast stations & seen the show transform from a simple one hour mix show into a two hour presentation of the finest in progressive dance music, featuring an array of headline guest mixers, specially extended shows & of course our celebrated 'live set specials', which have featured broadcasts from some of the finest promotions & parties within dance music.
To celebrate our 100th total show I'll be presenting a marathon four hour extended extravaganza of audio featuring some heavyweight guest mixes & a couple of very special sets from myself.
The show will commence with a 90 minute 'Reminiscence Mix' within which I'll be showcasing some of the finest tracks from our first 99 shows. The tracks featured have been compiled by all involved with the show & from suggestions by our loyal listeners.
Following on from the 'Reminiscence Mix' I'll be handing over control of the next 90 minutes to three very special guests. Our first guest is Birmingham based DJ/Producer Russell G. Russell has guested on the show previously with a standout mix airing in May 2008. With a string of successful gigs across the world since then & massive productions released on some of the worlds biggest labels, we felt it only right to get Russell back for the 100th episode.
The second guest for our celebratory show is German DJ/Producer Andrew Bennett. Andrew has also graced The Progressive Showcase previously with a fantastic guest mix broadcast in March 2008. I'm delighted to welcome him back once again for a typically melodic & energetic guest slot.
Our final guest is Leeds based DJ/Producer Freesoup. Freesoup was voted 'Guest of The Year' for 2008 & provided us with two stunning guest mixes, I'm delighted that he is going to be part of the 100th episode celebrations!
The final sixty minute segment of the show will feature a very special 'live set special' recorded last weekend at the hallowed Ministry of Sound in London. I was privileged enough to entertain a bumper crowd playing the headline set for FutureFridayFeeling hosted by The Gallery & I'll be presenting the full uninterrupted, unedited live recording of my set to round off our celebratory show!
The show is scheduled for broadcast on Monday September 14th starting at 17.00 (BST) 11.00 (CST) & 18.00 (CET) running for the full four hours. I very much hope plenty of you can tune in for this special event!
