im actually considering supporting england now, after holland went out today. england seem to have luck on their side this time...they r not playing well at all but they r hanging in thr...and they seemingly have an easier route to the semi-finals now considering portugal will be weaker for their red cards today. once england r through to the semi's ...they might actually start getting serious and buckle down and play like a team....coz its been quite a while since england last reached that stage!
Portugal played a disgusting game.. This is the reason why i hate Italy and Portugal + their retarded fans.
Christiano Ronaldo is the reason i hate portugal, well was, but now i have more reasons, also, the whole knocking england out in 04 i'm sure didn't help the cause.
As long as england put Frank Lampost on the bench, and start aaron lennon, we'll be good.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels that way. What a disgraceful game to watch, the ref did nothing to cool down either side, all he did was throw cards. When the important things were going on, he was looking somewhere else, very frustrating. I hope FIFA takes action after reviewing some of the bullshit that went on. I've lost a lot of respect for Figo and the Portugal team.

so I went to bbq at friend's place in Dufferin & St Claire Area. Spent 55 minutes in traffic... never made it to friend's place and went to Pride instead...

Fuck You Portugal!!
I have been saying this all day long as I partied on the streets for pride after watching that damn game.
First of all, Holland outplayed those panzy ass players Portugal calls a team. Ronaldo..
did he really need to milk that scratch for all it was worth. And the calls made in this game, pfft... I will not blame the ref'ing but you know I think it is pretty pathetic when heads are just turned to calls that were quite obvious.
As for Holland, I have never seen them play a better game then I saw them come out onto the field with today. They had their shit together and they were out there to win. Even til the very bitter end they fought for that goal and that makes me proud of them
At times their defense I think is still a little weak but overall today was an excellent game played by them. Van der Sar was on his game again and Portugal's goal, he didn't have a chance.
And yes, I am gonna sound like a bitter loser right now, but I hope Portugal goes out next game, cuz they aren't the ones that deserve to be there.
PS. yes I am still mad about the loss incase you didn't notice

Well i do not think England should have a major issue beating Portugal. Given that they have not played a real decent game just yet in worldcup but yet find themself meeting portugal next saturday ... a team that is suffering from suspensions and injuries of its key players England could just stumble into the next round.
Magikal hunnie i dont think Holland played its best game. Ball possesion and shots taken compared to Portugal ... and still could not get it in the net. And there was no sportsmanship in this game from either team. Shit show indeed. I will give Holland credit for fighting till the bitter end. Props for that lads.
Sorry I just had to post it.
