First of all, the Vatican knew since 1939 about the horrors being committed by the Nazis and still let it happen. Also, we pulled out of Gaza because what Israel really wants is peace for itself. In case you didn't know, this war going on right now is NOT with Palestinians, but even so Hamas is another example of what happens when you use money for terrorism instead of education, public works, and things of the sort in Palestinian communities.

This is still a struggle for Israel's survival, regardless of what any of you may think. Out of that HUGE land mass in the Middle East occupied by Arabs and led by fundamentalist Muslims, Israel only occupies an area the size of New Jersey. There is little reason, except for religious fundamentalism, to fighting for that land since the Old Testament proved we were there thousands of years ago, and the main reason for these attacks is still to rid the world of Jews, like Hitler tried doing earlier. Even Ahmadinejad claimed stopping the war would involve "the destruction of Israel." And you know what? I won't stop reminding you of the unspeakable acts he and others throughout history committed against the Jews because you are an example of what happens to people who forget. It is people with your mentality who were eventually brainwashed to join the Nazis, to participate in pogroms, and to fight in the crusades, and only by remembering these events can the world see what a crime it committed against the Jews. After all, not only have Jews not received some form of reparations for what happened to them in the last century, but radicals refuse to admit that the Holocaust even existed. We will remember our past, but others won't, and that's why the violence and hatred against Jews has perpetuated for centuries like this.

On point 3: It seems to me that Israel and America, both countries who are doing financially OK can afford to spend money on weapons. Yet it seems their military budget is rather nice, since they tend to instigate most of their attacks.

Yet another interesting fact: Russia has been supplying Syria with arms - same weapons that are now being used by Hizzbolah against IDF. Israel presented number of RPG shells and fragments of bombs that were used against military and civilian targets and Russians denied it.

I can see it now:

I really hope that this conflict won't blow up into regional war. I know that all it will take for war to break out is for Iran to send a group of Revolutionary Guards, dressed like Syrian army and attack IDF. That's it - there goes Middle East up in flames. Connect the dots:

Thats one thing i never understood about what the Jews are complaining about. Ok.. so the Russians sold RPG's to the Syrians & then the Syrains sold RPG's to Hezbollah. Well the USA is giving laser guided smart bombs to the Jews for FREE. It reminded me of the Jew guy that lived by me when i was growing up that said he has the fastest car. Then when people wanna race with a faster car he will only race if the other guy runs by foot. I used to be like WTF is he thinking.

But if Russia were supplying them with something with a hell of alot more power like nukes, then it would be something to get a lil crazy about.

Also, it is RUSSIAN KATYUSHAs that are being used to bomb Haifa and northern Israel. I can understand if such weapons were in the hands of Lebanese army - but I can't fathom why such weapons were in the hands of an internationally acknowledged (even by your country) terrorist group.

Imagine IRA using similar weapons against UK forces. Or any other terrorist group against another government/country. There'd be screams and reaction even worse than this. But only because it's Israel you can say something like "so what?".
