My Holden will most likely need to go in for service soon so I was thinking about trying out a new car if one is available.
Should I try the new Ford Falcon or the Toyota Aurion? Perhaps I can get the Ford Mondeo but the boot space might be a bit small.

Yea the Aurions are by all reports the best cars at the moment. The reason why I'm thinking Ford is because our fleet cars are Aurions so I'll eventually end up in an Aurion anyway.

Has to be the Lexus ISF. Seen it first 2 years ago at the IAT. A picture has a thousand words because in reality she is so amazing. The technical specifications Japanese managed to achieve are outstanding and compareable with any German luxury brand

I just came in my pants a little, just saw the first oficial pics of the new 5 series. The E60 which untill minutes ago i though still looked great looks quite outdated to me now that uive seen the new car. Also, love the interior. Now the wait for the inevitable M5 which is alredy being thoroughly tetsted 0n the ring...with a twin turbo V8, thats going to be incredibly awesome.

The front end sucks balls. It reminds me too much of a Maserati.

| Originally posted by pmoisse Agreed, but I think it looks marginally better than the last gen car. The eyes were too "Dame Edna Everage" /Clarkson I still like the older ones best from a style point of view. |

| Originally posted by gehzumteufel See, I would much prefer the last gen front-end, due to the fact that it is still distinctly BMW. This new one, you could pretty easily mistake for a Maserati if you weren't a car person. |

TO me though, the grille on the new one looks a bit more like the traditional BMW kidney grille instead of the stretched oe of the last gen with the headlight assemblies that wrap around too much for my tastes. That said, I don't think either one is ugly, and from a power pov they are badass cars in //M trim even though they have too many gadgets imo |
I appreciate the De-Bangalizing.
Wish we got these here in the states...

I see this shape as an evolution from the E60 which draws its styling more from the rest of the range than from other makes. You still have the distinct features that makes you recognise it as a bmw from afar, the kidney grills, the angel ayes. Also to me at least this shape takes much aspirations from the classic 5 series cars, the pre e39 era. Last two generations of the 5er were quite large and heavy (though still the best in their class), this is more like the e34...sporty fromt and shapely ass, classic for the modern age.
I know im raving on a bit but i just fucking love the 5 series bmws

Well they did some testing for the new B7 in the us so you newer know, perhaps they imght just enter the market. Though i dont think they could keep up with demand, even as it is the waiting list for the alpina cars is quite long.
Also the previous B7 was apparantly available (in limited quantities) trough some bmw dealers in the us. So some lucky bastards are driving thosein the us.
