good to hear you had a good trip lisa!

i do agree, thats why i decided nopt to do a tour and do everything i wanted to do and for how many days!... but doing a 15 day tour then 2 months of free spirit travelling sounds good too
will def look into turkey, thanks for that jake

lol, havent written in here for a while, got back recently from switzerland, germany, france for 4 weeks in july/aug which was great!, spent about 3k in total for the whole trip! and I'm going back in november till mid jan in a few months again. were gonna go snowboarding in czech over new years and prolly in the swiss alps over christmas, should be good fun gonna run down the money to zero before i start work in jan when i get back... the only thing better than travelling with your parents paying for everything is having someone else's parents paying for everything and staying in their house! lol, nah, they're great.

+1

Thats the only way to travel.

Pay someone else twice the price to tell you where to go?

All i can say is dont knock it till ya try it. Im currently 2 months into my europe stay and found that the 10 day contiki i did was a godsend.

It is such a total pain in the ass to organise accomodation and flights and buses and trains and have no idea where the shit you are at 8am in the morning after a huge the night the evening before and you cant speak the language. Its just so handy to have someone let you know a few phrases, how the public transport works, what places are good to see and how to get there.Ontop of that you meet a shitload of people, your little bus tour becomes and family and ive met quite a few people that ive travelled with afterwards. Argueably you could get that travelling around in hostels and whatnot but it does take shitload of the work out of travelling which is nice when youve put in a bullshit amount of work for a year to get there.

Then again, different strokes for different folks.

Hey Cam, what was the name of that place you stayed this year in Ibiza?
Was it the Catalina or somehting? Where is it, and how did you find it in the first place?

I might be looking at going late August, early September.

Probably do a Bavaria, Austria, Slovenia, Hungary, Czech & Slovak Republic trip.

Its the "Catalina"

its in San Antonio, but is down by the water, its above the Savanah Cafe and Above Cafe Del Mar.

Ask for a Water view, best idea ever! yo ucan watch the sunset from your balcony, and listen to the chillout music from the cafe's.

With 4 people in the room it was only $AUD50 a night!

this was the view from our balcony:

See the guy sunbaking on the sun bed... well thats Sid (S_Madis) hehe

man i cant wait to go back.

you know you want it gorgeous!

anyone planning a European trip and doesn't have ibiza in their plans, has rocks in their head. Along with Stockholm and Austria was most definitely the highlight.

Yeah probably heading back again. You?
Again July - mid-August. Doing a course at Copenhagen Business School probably (only 2 days a week for 6 weeks though). Get taken on excursion cruises through Sweden then Germany. Do my own travelling through at least Estonia and Latvia, perhaps some more of eastern Europe. Will definitely head back to Netherlands and Ibiza (also go Mallorca this time). Only doing Dance Valley out of all the big festivals this time around. Weighing up the Canary Islands because I have a friend who's probably heading there.
Still not 100% though but pretty close to it; getting moist already.
