That's like a 2 minute minor, i think it warranted a 5 minute major.

with the difficulties people get unsuspended with inactive mods on TA these days, it's more like a season suspension

edit: having said this, i'll make it until after the stanley cup playoffs are over

Brodeur ftw

+1 he was rediculous 2nite. Soon he'll b passing Roy in playoff shutouts, one more to go. Hopefully it happens in game 6

went to the devils-hurricanes game tonight and dear god talk about some damn good goaltending from both guys. it was a fantastic game to go to so very happy that i went. total there was like 85 shoots, i mean dear god each goalie made at least 40 saves . that is ridiculous. either way carolina seemed to get better as the game progressed i think they will take game 6 in carolina if they can keep up the momentum and don't give up. t

What a game tonight, saw a few TAs there, by chance haha... Truly a battle of goalies, Ward and Brodeur both did an amazing job. This was simply a case of one team wanting it just a bit more than the other. Can't wait for Sunday...

Posted by Deeks1187 on Apr-24-2009 04:11:

for those of you who are like me stuck watching games on versus, I want to know what the hell that stupid horn is about every time somebody scores a goal regardless of what team it is. It's short, but what the hell is that?

ovechkin's goal tonight made me drool. so so so nasty. he's ridiculous!

Thank goodness. If they can win up in NY, this series is over.

i love when he talks about don cherry and "old people"

Now there's the ranger team I've come to know and hate

Alexander the great. It's back on now, I said to Vern it had to be a big convincing win to give us a chance of taking the series and now we have that. nothing short of perfection will do in the next 2 games though, it's a bad place to have been in but hopefully last years experience will help us out there.

i was introduced to nhl by being shown clips of the best young players. Sedins, ovechkin, kane, toews, malkin etc and just appreciated the all round effort from ovie. He has the skills & moves but isn't afraid to hit & give everything. Can't help but admire it. I also like toronto, chicago and calgary but can't fully support them cos I have to stick to one team, so washington got it.

all or nothing tonight.... totally pessimistic .

I just find it amusing since I live a block from the Caps facility, but like 1200 miles from England.

as a sharks fan what do you think the overwhelming feeling is if you guys don't make it past the first round? i would guess you want some people traded but who would you keep exactly? just curious.

i can't say i've been watching the sharks but that is what i would have said but not sure if that would be the "correct" thing since i can't claim to know too much about the sharks

Well theres a few guys that are on their last year so and a few going free agent. I dont see the sharks having too great of a team next year because of that. It stings more because its the ducks, I live smack dab in the middle of ducks territory and Id like to walk around with my sharks gear heckle free but looks like they get the last laugh.

Id love to keep Boyle and Blake but I need to see if they are retiring. Cheechoo hasnt done too much this year. Setoguchi is a strong young talent but I think hes free agent and will get a high offer elsewhere.
If I had to pick one guy to to keep it would be Boyle. He plays some sexy hockey.
