Ok i have a few questions. Im going to fly to london on 29th june.. Got ticket and all paid for.. yaya
Im going travelling by myself. Problem is i want to go to ibiza but cant book anything....cos ill be by myself. Obviousley i want to meet people maybe in london and get a crew together.
Question: can u just get a flight to ibiza and book in when u get there or is everything all booked out..
Im going end of july. Its my first time travelling and im scared
haha
The first two weeks in August are always the busiest in Ibiza so during that time it would definitely be wise to book well ahead. In late July however there is still plenty of accommodation around but it might not be as cheap as if you had booked earlier. What you can do is book accommodation and cancel it - you can cancel as late as 7 days prior at no cost to you. You can thus make a few reservations based on a few contingency strategies (i.e. 1/2/3+ people coming with you) and cancel those you no longer need a week ahead.
I recommend you take a look through this website and keep tabs on it: www.ibiza-spotlight.com
Generally accommodation in San Antonio (on the western side of the island) is cheaper and easier to come by but the Jet Apartments at Playa d'en Bossa (on the eastern side) are great value.
BTW I don't think you'll have any trouble finding people wanting to go to Ibiza in London.
i went to ibiza this yr at the end of july and most places were booked out a few months before as its a really busy time.
agree with xenon, check out ibiza spotlight they have heaps of info and accomodation on there and as he said u can always cancel 7 days before u arrive. i organised all my stuff before i left so dont know how easy it would b to get a place when u arrive.
where else r u travelling to? i'll b in europe for the summer, would love to go to ibiza again but not sure yet.. maybe for the closing parties

i'm thinking of doing nature one next year.. early august if i'm not mistaken... anyone thinking of going?
this year's lineup sported the likes of PVD and AVB.. if you've heard armin's set from it - it sounds like a killer party!
anyone else thinking about it? xenon? you know you want to!
Nature One this year was 5-7 August which was the exact dates for Dance Valley. There is no way I'm missing Dance Valley for Nature One. Line-up for DV = 10 x line-up for Nature One.
hrmm...
tough decisions
i'll see which one G&D are playing at and track them down
wats the dates for dancevalley
may have to return to holland more than once
DV is usually the first weekend of August i think. I'm making a special trip from the south of Germany back for it. (in theory).
Anyone up for the Le Mans 24 hours? June 17 and 18. Feel free to join me
Howdy, I'm over is switzerland now and damn is it cold! (for an SA boy at least).
I've been here a week or two now, just been hanging around in Switzerland, going snowboarding a fair bit. It's pretty funny, the 'beginner' slopes here are probably some of the most difficult slopes I've ever snowboarded on, I swear people here are born with skis on!
The flight over here was crap, I flew with British Airways and the food was booring as all hell, and they stuffed us around too... The travel agent completely stuffed up my name and British Airways as part of their new anti-terror laws decided that name changes are not allowed and crappy flight centre has a clause that says basically bad luck, so I had paid $2000+ for a ticket I couldnt use. They were saying originally thats your liability and I wasn't going to fly. I ended up kicking up a fuss (who wouldnt) and in the end the girl at flight centre who made the mistake had to buy me a new one out of her pay! What a stuff around! and then in Singapore the plane's airconditioning failed and we had a couple of hours delay! Crap.
But it's ok, because Switzerland has the best powder in the world
We're flying off to Barcelona tomorrow for a couple of days, so that should be fun at least.

A shot in the forest near where we're stayin
A nice powdery section of the slopes

We're staying in Basel and we've been boarding at Sorenberg, Stoos and Flumserberg.
I'll tell ya though, swiss haven't ever heard of service with a smile... Still, we're having fun though

Just got back from Barcelona, what a nice place that was. I've never been to Spain before, and I don't know if the rest of the country is like that but I had a great time. The people are heaps nice and friendly, even if you don't speak Spanish, the food's great (and not too expensive), the weather was nice (for European winter) and there's always a buzz at night
Oh, and paella FTW! I rekon I'll be coming back to Barcelona sometime. It was soo teasing, we were about 200km from ibiza, if we'd kept on flying about another 10 minutes we'd be there... oh well, there's always next year
I'm gonna hop on a train tomorrow and head to Zurich for a while
Heres a few more pics, the snow ones are from before we left.
