iAM Music 015 � Matt Hardwick
Matt Hardwick is the epitome of an international DJ. He lives and breathes electronic music. Since his inception into club culture Matt Hardwick has completely immersed himself in it. His rapid ascendency into dance music with the global phenomenon that is Gatecrasher is something which has been well documented. The association with Gatecrasher, the first of many landmark achievements in his career, took Matt's name from the dusty streets of Sheffield to the bright lights akin with international stardom, along the way seeing him play some of the greatest events the world of clubbing has to offer. Whether it was playing at the sell-out Don Valley stadium gig in front of 28,000 people on New Years Eve 2000 or playing to 15,000 people at the amazing Gatecrasher NEC events - Matt was the heartbeat of the lion that roared throughout the trance boom of the late 90's.

This month features a guest mix by Australian DJ/Producer Harley Augustine.
Hailing from Melbourne, Australia, Harley Augustine is a DJ/Producer with a fast blossoming
production career and a decade-long track record of high-profile live appearances. With DJ sets
that range from rolling, funky and driving, to deep, melodic and trancey, Harley has spun from
Australia to Ibiza, has rocked festival crowds at the likes of Two Tribes and Summadayze, and
has played with a host of the planet�s biggest names, including Dave Seaman, Nick Warren,
and Danny Howells. On the production front, Harley's debut track "Invincible" had the distinction
of being played on Hernan Cattaneo's renowned �Sequential� radio show, and in January of this
year, leading German label Jetlag Digital released 'Invincible' as part of Harley's 3-song "Panorama"
EP. All three tracks on "Panorama" hit the label's Top 20 Chart on Beatport simultaneously and
stormed the Top 20 promo charts on both progressivehouse.com and releasepromo.com. Harley's
well-received follow-up EP "Overtime" was released by Jetlag Digital this past June, while his
remix of Shane's 'Superficial' for Kansak Recordings followed shortly afterwards and made its
way into numerous online radio DJ sets and promo mixes around the globe. With three new EPs
coming soon from Dyami Records, Bit Records Mexico and Jetlag Digital, Harley Augustine's
production career is well on its way to matching his sparkling DJ resume.

Don�t put Marcel Woods in the same room as a box. Chances are the box won�t make it out alive. Boy does he hate those boxes!
"It's nothing personal" explains Marcel, "I just can�t stand being put into them. People try to define my sound, style and influences down to just one or two genres, but if you've heard me then you'll know that's impossible. But the result is a severe hatred of boxes. Boxes and pigeon-holes. I don't like pigeon-holes either to be honest. I just don't fit into them, never have and never will."
Exactly what doesn�t fit is Marcel's mind-blowing mix of raw and energetic dance music. Dancefloors and festivals have fallen before him in swift succession. Global Gathering, Mysteryland, Dance Valley, Trance Energy, Gatecrasher Summer Sound System, Escape Into The Park, Planet Love and Sanctuary just in one summer run! And possibly more than anything else underlining Marcel's diverse nature, 2008 saw him become the only DJ ever to play the White AND Black Edition Sensation parties in the Netherlands.

The Progressive Showcase returns this coming Monday (October 12th) for another two hours of all things progressive. This week's edition of the show sees a full extended session with yours truly handling proceedings for the entirity of the show. It's been a while since I hogged the limelight in such a way & I'm very much looking forward to it!
As has been the norm with the solo shows of late I'll be splitting the broadcast into two separate one hour mixes, the first hour will feature a deeper selection of tracks, showcasing some killer tech & progressive house. During the opening sixty minutes music comes from the likes of Josh Gabriel, Len Faki, Thomas Sagstad & many more.
Hour Two of the show will take in a much more progressive trance vibe. I'll be featuring some of my current favourite tracks from the likes of Dakota, Solarity, Andrew Bennett & more.
The show is scheduled for broadcast from 17.00 (BST) 18.00 (CET) 11.00 (CST) running uninterrupted for the full two hour duration exclusive to http://www.sense.fm Progressive Channel. I very much hope some of you can tune in!
