enjoyed the first hour and a half or so quite a lot - then he went into standard uplifting trance mode and the music didnt really change for the next 4 hours but yeah i thought it was okay i guess

I AGREE WITH YOU JULES.

I had heaps of fun overall, just thought Armin wouldve banged it out more as he had previous times Ive seen him.

Yeh ofcourse the uplifting was expected, but after so many hours of it, when a banging track was played WHICH YOU COULD SEE THE WHOLE CROWD/ATMOSPHERE ROARING WITH EXCITEMENT, then he would change the pace & play another very uplifting track that went on forever & ever & once it kicked in, it did nothing for the crowd.

lol

Crowd was very random! When I first walked in I thought I was at Famous, such a little teeny crowd, then it was spot the wog in the overalls HAHA BOB THE BUILDER, then the little fairies wearing wings and blowing bubbles la la la. Too funny!

Communication was the track of the night.

Good on ya Mike Nichol, you must be so proud. All the best

That was my 5th time seeing Armin and I have to say it was the most DISAPPOINTING!!!!!

Too much uplifting head-doing crap. There's only so much a person can handle. I've seen him BANG it out HARD before and this time he just didn't do it for me.

Had fun nonetheless, doesn't matter where you are, it's the company you're with

Bring on Pharmacy!!!!

***Well done Mike and Good luck with everything***

have to say im so very glad you were disappointed. this was my first time seeing armin and it cost me a fortune, if he'd pleased you instead i would have been a very angry camper!

So were you one of the guys wearing those fairy wings too???

Well I'm glad you enjoyed your first Armin experience, especially because you had to travel from deprived Tassie LOL

Soooooo what you said.

I've always been bored every other time I've seen him play, couldn't understand what the fuss was about. And I can't stand that shit he plays on ASOT week in week out. Twinkle twinkle.

But this, this was the best night of music I've ever seen, seriously. It was bliss with just enough bang and mix up on to make me jump around.

Loved how he started housey. Thought he was going to go fairy uplifting from midnight and that would have been highly annoying.

Set perfection for me.

Posted by pkcRAISTLIN on Jun-14-2007 01:00:

yeah, i was a bit disconcerted with the start, but i stayed positive, thinking that he was only teasing me. which he was! i found it difficult to be disappointed with the harder crap at the end, just coz the first half of the set was so very good!

Jester

LOL He was fairy uplifting for the most part....it was the perfect lullaby for my friend's baby. My Grandma could have rocked to it too LOL

yeah, dont you just HATE it when someone actually plays MUSIC!? i know i much prefer noise! loud loud noisey noise! hell yeah!

Posted by EgosXII on Jun-14-2007 02:14:

I liked the banging and the uplifting: mixed to perfection- I'm glad i had white pants on, or i would have been embarassed when i shook armin's hand!

Posted by pkcRAISTLIN on Jun-14-2007 02:18:

hard doesn't have to be shit. but the hard stuff armin played was definitely shit.

yeah took those with my A610, which has a relatively big sensor when it comes to compacts
Also recently got a Nikon D40, but didn't wanna carry that with me, too big, so went with the pocket option
