thank god crisis averted...now back to anaheim

Thank god they won. I kind of doubt they are going to win though in game 6. Finally Thorton does something, he has been slacking a whole buch.

And Nabby oh my god, why isn't he so clutch at some times, and a complete flake at others.

Fuckin Hiller I love watching him when its not against the sharks. Exiting win but not convincing. I think I may buy a ticket to the next game.

I decided to watch Flyers vs. Penguins yesterday with my friend. We were watching World Championships but for some reason Sweden vs. Austria wasn't so interesting and NHL game was starting so... I was sure that Flyers would win after they lead 3-0 but Penguins got couple of quick goals and suddenly they had the "momentum".

Kimmo Timonen to finnish national team?

The Rangers had a chance to close out their series in Washington on Friday, but instead got lit up by the Caps 4-0. Now they have another shot to end things at home, but because their coach saw fit to get in a water fight with a fan during Game 5 they will have to do it without him. Tortorella was hit with a tasty beverage, but it looks like he may have been the one who started it.

quote:
Capitals' season ticket-holder Claudette Chandonia told The Washington Post the bottle Tortorella threw hit her in the head. "He was losing and he was frustrated, I guess," Chandonia said, according to the report. "I couldn't believe it. I looked up, and he was throwing the water bottle and then it hit me right here, right in the head, and it bounced off me."

Fans in the seats around Chandonia confirmed the bottle-throwing and said Tortorella also squirted water through two panes of glass before throwing the bottle, according to the report.

"Good job by our fans. Our fans are one more player for us. They do what they have to do for us," Capitals star Alex Ovechken said Saturday morning at the team's practice.

You may recall Tortorella's stance against the "embarrassing" antics of wild cards like Averywho he has mostly helped keep in line since the two were united in New York. But you know ... it was just a little water. Since when are coaches not allowed to cool off fans with a refreshing drink? Or maybe a stick to the face?

5-1 now. Rangers can't be excited about a Game 7.

Can we unban sean5 for that?

there is a difference, the penguins are more talented than the flyers. the rangers are not more talented than the capitals, it's 5-1 now it's up to the rangers offense now.

this is ace. I knew we needed a big win previously to give us what we've shown tonight, just better morale & body language and a mental edge. Gotta take it all the way now.

Posted by Deeks1187 on Apr-26-2009 19:56:

yeah in all honestly, rangers look like their on life support right now, that dubinsky mess didn't help em

Posted by L.E.N. on Apr-27-2009 00:21:

Great game for the Caps!

Posted by Deeks1187 on Apr-27-2009 04:23:

If the devils knew they were going to play like that, they were better off chillin out in newark, save some lag
I certainly enjoyed not watching the 3rd period
shmucks

I'm not surprised the Caps came back from a 3-1 hole.

And no I'm not putting in a request to unban sean5 because I value everyone's brain cells (Wade Redden a good Defenseman )

I've seen people get away with worse or less ban wise. Good job we're not pepe & real madrid though else we'd be appealing
