Just downed some Boddington's Pub Ale and some Badger's Fursty Ferret.

The Boddington's was ok, rather smooth but more like a watered-down Kilkenny. The Ferret was good, and tasted like what my dad used to be able to brew at home.

just got home from the Beatification release at Russian River Brewery in Santa Rosa. I'm not so geeky about beer, but my brother is big on it and I was up north anyway so I volunteered to pick up some more for him. it's definitely the best sour I've ever had, and their Row 2/Hill 56 may take the cake for IPAs. we also did a bottle share with some elite alcoholics, apparently some world class stuff was being passed around but I am kind of a newb so I don't recall everything. I'll see if I can dig up a pic of the bottles tomorrow.
