No, nor will I be. These are primarily going to be used for internet promotion/promo kits AMP sends out to various clubs/promoters in other areas.

I have plenty of decent, hi-res shots of my face while I'm playing that can just as easily be cropped into head shots.

trust me go with professional...if you are serious its worth the investment...
put it this way
you are a booker sorting through x number of ppress kits to see what you wanna book. 2 dj's similar style,exp,ect ect but one has a pro kit and the other doesnt...who gets the gig?

bedroom dj's do decent...the ones who don't need day jobs go pro.

If the difference between me "making it" and not is a head shot, I'm not so sure I want to "make it" anyway.

dont laugh...if you dont realize that the industry is more sizzle than steak you will be eaten alive...see: tiesto

im not coming out of left field or trying to diss ya mang...just know that your face can become an integral part of your "brand" and marketing strategy. Its essential with so many DJ's playing the exact same shit.(generally speaking) For promo sell YOU...worry about the musical aspects for gigs.

Do you think I haven't seen the cover of 99% of all EDM releases since someone first said the name "Oakenfold?"

Of course I realize that selling yourself is important, but I'm telling you right now that I'm 100% certain it's completely unnecessary at this point.

And if you're really insinuating that's what it will take to get booked outside of the Midwest, well, let's just reconvene around Christmas/New Years time and see what's happened then.

I like Audion's head shot on Beatport I wanna do something like that. Another idea I had is just body outlines, I actually did that for mine and Clovis's first cd. I took a picture of us, went into photoshop and just traced out outlines and made the outline the cover. Pretty neat
