To the remaining people with absented intelligence, I could explain my inital respond: This kid gets a car for his birthday. That's pretty much all you know. What you don't know is if he's earned it. Has he worked hard in school? Is he a polite young man that mostly think of other's well-being before his own? (a true altruist) and so on. This kid is "lucky", he has hard-working parents to support him. Why on earth can't you be happy for him? What the fuck is so goddamn difficult with being happy for another person's fortune? I remember being a kid in one of Norway's public schools. I actually got bullied, just because my father was a hard working man beyond the usual. It didn't help that I transfered from a private english school, that obviously ment that I was a spoiled brat. I sometimes wished I had a less fortunate family, so I wouldn't worry about the other kids making fun of me and making insinuating remarks about my brand new mountain bike, for example. I actually had a teacher that couldn't stop remarking my brand clothes. That's all I had to say, I know you propably just think I am a prejudiced bastard, but that's fine. I also most certainly know that a glimpse of my private life doesn't interest you - well, I can't say I care, as with other things I read on these forums where I retain myself from making a stupid remark. I find it more amusing to read forums, rather than wasting time writing - this was an exeption, I apologize for my hypocrisy. Ta-ta |
Maybe he got a car after all, and drove away somewhere and can't find his way back home ^_^
