Okay...on the 100th reply, i completely changed my attitude for DJ mystik. I used to kinda "like" him cuz his "music" sounds kinda addictive at first (for those ingnorant azn ravers anyways). But after all these shiet, Dj mystik becomes the DJ Mystical Thief. Anyone wants to take any legal action?

sure, u go to law school and pursue this case. Just give me the money.

how many people were in this thread? wasn't it like 5-6 and we've made to 100 posts

I admit that I've recently heard the Plur II mix of DJ Mystik (I hope it's that one you mean). I don't like his set, those tunes are way too cheesy for my taste, but his mixing skills are good, I can't say anything against that.

i heard a little while ago that DJ Epic can't make cds or whatever because he was guilty of copyright infringements?? I don't know.....

on the cds it says something like "for promotional use only".. does that make any difference in the whole copyright thingy? i dunno anything about copyright laws (or laws in general).

I dunno about you guys, but I'd pick tracklisting over mixing quality on ANY mix cd... ok, well I heard this one cd where the beats weren't matched up so basically one song could have been going 120bpm and then the next song in the "mix" going at 140bpm or something like that (i just made up those numbers). now that ruins the cd. but as long as the beats are matched, and it's not just a fade in/out of the tracks, I can't tell quality of 'mixing'. I guess I'm not exposed to trance as much as other people on this forum......

DVD, You must be making a bad joke saying I was a Mystic lover, because I am far from it. I have a serious hatred for Mystic, not for his poor mixing skills but the way he steals music. There are a few of us living up in the bay area that really know their trance, not everybody is brainwashed here. In fact I always thought that DJ Mystic is more of a So-cal thing since I rarely hear of him up here.

Well, looks like I've finally finish reading this loooong thread on Mr DJ Mystik.
I must say it was pretty entertaining reading about him and so called 'producing/remixing' skills. Couldn't believe I missed all the action happeing in this thread !! .

Now for this DJ Mistik and his notorious behaviour, I have yet to listen his so called productions. From my impression a lot of you who posted on this thread don't think too much of him.
I believe he doesn't deserve my waste of listening time just hearing him rip off artist after artist does he?

From what I'm told after reading this thread, he has been brainwashing a lot of local ravers in his home city. And they just all happed to be asian. If this is the case then he is a disgrace too all asian clubbers in the trance scene and everyone else in the TRANCE SCENE, I mean whole the muthaf!@#ng scene!! Artists producers, dj's promoters, reocrd labels, someone should just whoop his ass really hard!!!!

Well that's my thought. Wonder if I'll ever get to listen to his so called tripe. Hope I don't though.

Ok... i agree with 99% of wat all of you are saying. Namely that DJ mystic sucks ass and is a thief. I've seen how he steals various tracks and renames them as if he produced them. Concerning his mixing skills, i have no opinion since i've never heard him spin.

The one thing that pisses me off are these comments that asian ravers suck and that no asian knows anything bout trance. That is total bullshit. Im asian and im from so cal and believe me, there are ppl here that know their shit when it comes to trance. Dont even go to tell me that there are white ppl , black ppl , or watever who dont go to raves to get drugged out. It's not just asians who are druggies. So dont lump all of us asians into one category. This goes to ppl such as dvd who seem to have a contempt for asian ravers.

I guess we can assume that most TAs don't like asians. I guess they stopped hating on DJ Mystik lately.

hey, thread made a comeback! ...Somewhere along this thread the perception of asian ravers (in So Cal) got miscontrued to mean all of them. Generally, it was meant towards the asian ravers who worship Mystik's so-called trance godliness, and won't ever admit he's biggest baloney known to the trance scene itself.

TA is a good, friendly place to hang around. STick around.

IF he takes blatant credit as a producer for the tracks, it's illegal. Promo or not, it matters little when he purposely violates copyright laws.

i just feel that some people should watch wat's coming out of their mouth before they open it. I;ve been into trance for bout 5 yrs now. I do see myself as an avid fan. Heck i drove 300 miles from LA to SF to see Paul Van Dyk spin. If thats not dedication then i dont know wat is. I just want to let ppl out there know that there are asians that know alot about trance.

Yes it isnt all asians that dont know trance. i just dont know a lot that do. Around here i see lots of RICEBOYS as i call them. With their spiked hair or dyed or whatever and they always into cars and raving. I'm just annoyed of those people. It's just so common here that i just say all asians , sorry to all you asians out there, including me. Besides most of the time when i say i listen to trance or like trance they would say , OH you like that rave shit. or ask me do i rave. Which is annoying becuase i dont rave and dont really care for it.

This was kinda wierd seeing this thread up hehe, i converted the person who started this thread into a mystik hater, and now he also hatese me because i think people are stupid when they think they are gangsta and saying stuff like nigga and typing all whatever.

there are a lot of crackers that are into cars and raving. In fact most "racers" and "ravers" i see are white.
